Songs off my upcoming CD naturally:
Living On A Shoestring
Tell Me About the Blues
Music Ain't Music No More
You Can Take A Pill
It's A Sin
Dead Fish Don't Fly
Cutting the Chord
Son Of a Gun
Good Home Cooking
Blow This Town
Oh I forgot, I don't want my funeral to be very long. I think I want to be cremated and have my ashes thrown into my favorite trout stream somewhere. They'll have to get a live band out by the stream playing a few of my tunes. Can't stand the thought of a damn DJ doing the gig...

I wouldn't subject people to my music, I'd have some of the best ever recorded:
Brahms - Symphony No.1, first movement
Bach - Brandenburg Concerto No.3, third movement
Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold as Love
The Rover - Led Zeppelin
Birds of Fire - Mahavishna Orchestra
Starless - King Crimson

Go Rest High On That Mountain
Vince Gill
Probably the most requested song at a funeral
in the South.
Give it a listen you'll see why.

All I'd wanna hear is ARE YOU EXPERIENCED followed by 1983.

Uh...my own songs. I know that sounds really egotistical, but I have also thought aboout it before, and, hopefully, my funeral will be a celebration of my life-including the work I've done.
A weird combo for sure.
Opening:Keith Murray - The Most Beautifullest Thing in the World
After speeches: Motorhead - Snaggletooth
Before Burial: BT Express - Express
After Burial: Suicidal Tendencies - The Feeling's Back
Closing: Black Flag - Gimme Gimme Gimme

Okay, I'll get serious, here.
Anne Murray - I Am Woman (Hear Me Roar)
Shirley Temple - On The Good Ship Lollipop
Tiny Tim - Tip-Toe Through The Tulips
Disney Collection - Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah
I think that these tunes will put ppl in the right mood, esp that last one.
I wouldn't want anyone walking away from my funeral without a smile...

SMILE - it's the safest way to spread your cheeks!
I'm sure I'll hear "Cotton Eyed Joe" looped enough in hell...j/k.
Maybe the devil will be kind enough to break up the monotony with "Barbie Girl" for a decade or two. Yay.
