Klonopin shouldnt. It's got a long shelf life - longer lasting.
The nasty one (but also the best one) is xanax. Fast acting, but short lasting.
Because it drops out of your system much faster, if you're dependent on it and then just stop cold turkey, then you get auditory halucinations, muscle tremors, seizures sometimes, and other fun stuff.

Sorry to veer this thread off course...

Has there been a plan formulated for whats next for Jace?

Nothing yet, Zip. I haven't talked to Ian in a few days.

We're talking about the logistics of getting the wife to TX to help her mom, at the moment.

I'll give Ian a call tonight, & see what his plans are...after all, I hafta TRY to keep in mind that HE's the one in charge of his kid, right? All I can do is offer support & advice...but there are times when I'm awfully tempted to just take control, & I have to keep reminding myself that the ball is always in his court, with his family. It ain't easy bein' a granddad, sometimes.

There's just so many brush fires right now, & it's all I can do to just keep my focus from moment to moment. Spray a lil here...a lil there...& hope for the best.

After I'm done kickin' carpet today, I will make a few calls to find a GOOD ear, nose & throat guy, & an allergist. Ian doesn't have the time for that, during the day, so I do what I can. I don't even know if there IS such a thing as a pediatric ear, nose & throat guy, or a ped allergist. I feel kinda dumb...too much research to do!

I know one thing, though - tomorrow, I'm going fishing, & to STICKS, & I'm gonna try my very best to get my mind OFF of everything for just one day. I haven't been taking good enough care of Philby lately, & I'm feelin' run down from the stress, the lack of sleep, & the horrible diet & other crap I've done to myself, recently.

I went out & had that 7 & 7 last night - damn but that's a horrid drink! I switched to g & t's after only one. I feel like crap this morning, but at least there's coffee!

That particular specialty is Otolaryngology. Here is a link to the Otolaryngology department at U.M. that outlines what they do.

Thank god you're here, 90db! Thanks, man.

At least I know what to look up in my yellow pages!

I need a good Otolaryngolongist, myself! Maybe he can fix my frikken ears! (I love that word! I'm gonna put it in a new song one day, if I can figger out how to pronounce it! I think I need a speech patholologist!)

Otolaryngology (pronounced oh/toe/lair/in/goll/oh/jee) may not be your first choice. I would seek out a good diagnostic neuroradiologist and have him look at the films/MRs. They deal with arachnoid cysts all the time, and will be aware of the current treatments.
