There have been so many sightings of bigfoot by so many people, many of them credible, but no scientific evidence as of yet. No bodies, none have been shot and wounded that I'm aware of, just sightings. The few on video haven't been definitively confirmed either. I'm starting to think that maybe sasquatch is an alien life form that is so advanced they can be beamed up to their space ship (a la Star Trek). They come down here to gather food and then go back to their ship. There's a group of them in California somewhere that are supposedly eating wild blueberries. I guess they can't be that bad. They don't bother us earthlings, don't leave any litter behind. They don't have any interest in contacting us because we're so primitive and violent. It's too bad some space alien doesn't come down here and tell us how to stop the damn oil leak...

Even alien blueberry eating gorilla's are going to avoid this planet.

You know, I used to think that, too, bob. Then I began to think that, if they WERE such an advanced society of aliens, you'd expect them to GROOM themselves a little better, wouldn't ya?

Nope. It's Michel Jordon.

The most compelling video evidence ended up being a hoax.

That's exactly what the Sasquatch is: a hoax. A legend. It's the same thing as a Pegasus.

I mean, did you SEE that guy on the news last night? Stoned or drunk or both, easy.

And the picture he drew? It looked like Jerry Garcia. I swear, the most likely story is that he saw a tall guy with a long beard and long hair, who probably went into the woods, stoned, to take a leak, and got lost.

I think the more interesting legend-that-might-be-true is the Loch Ness Monster. Especially after the video they caught last year:

That, and UFO's. I mean, everyone has cameras on their phones now, and we've seen some pretty compelling footage in the last two years.

I think the aliens are just waiting to see if we completely blow ourselves up, or evolved.

I'm placing odds on the former.

On sasquatch - there's not a body, not a bone, not a credible piece of film footage, no scat or hairs have proven anything conclusively. I'm beyond caring until someone actually finds something.

On Nessie - there's not a body, not a bone, not a conclusively credible piece of film or other evidence.

I watch Monster Quest, River Monsters, Ghost Hunters, all the crap tv out there on the supposed monsters roaming the world, the paranormal shite, & they never seem to find a thing to prove anything real, save for the River Monsters guy. All he ever finds is interesting fish, which is pretty damned cool, but even he rarely finds anything truly proof-positive, for all his efforts, when it comes to local legends.

The only redeeming thing about him, which 90% of the other shows seem to miss, is the fact that he actually puts some real time into his searches. For the most part, these other stupid shows have an "investigator" go to some spot, & spend a single night, & come away with nothing but theories, time after time. I dunno why I bother with them all, but I keep watching & wondering...

That large ape is not a hoax.
It's Elvis.

Sorry bro... It's Jerry Garcia.

We have a composite sketch that proves this now!

Besides... Bigfoot "hips" are not capable of moving the way Elvis's did!

Unless...

Wait.... Maybe you are BOTH on to something here!

Maybe Elvis was a Bigfoot with an irrelegular hip, and his people were trying to find him a cure, and they sent the "hip-swinger" among us, to display his infirmity to us earthlings!

Image

But we silly humans, rather than helping the ailing creature, who was clearly contorted in pain, we instead WORSHIPPED that hip-swing infirmity... And named the strange beast: "Elvis"

And then we crowned him...

The King!

Gosh, we are still so naive as a species, aren't we?

The difference, Phil, is that you can't easily examine the Loch. By all accounts, the visibility is zero and you can't dive and explore it.

While that may be true, CF, I'd think that something would have been found, since the sightings began in the 6th century!

The scariest lookin' thing I ever saw in the water was when that River monsters guy caught a tiger fish in the congo.

Yeah, but they have done SONAR many times, as well as other methods, that wouldn't rely on physical sight. It is highly doubtful it exists. There would have to be a reasonable number of breeding pairs, and as Phil mentioned.... You are talking about "sightings" going back more than a millenium. What would keep the population so low, that no irrefutable evidence has ever been found in all that time? Particularly, with all the modern technology employed over many decades now.

Anything is "possible" of course, but it seems highly unlikely to me.

Did anybody see the show on the chubacabra (spelling?).? Originally it was sighted on the island of Puerto Rico, a blood sucking dog that was supposedly killing all kinds of domesticated animals by draining them of blood. Then a number of years ago various domesticated animals in Arizona or New Mexico began showing up with their blood drained. Then the chubacabra was sighted and very recently a dead one was found hit by a vehicle. It is now being examined in a laboratory. It looks like a hairless coyote with a very long snout and big teeth. They actually have a specimen and the results of the investigation are not in yet. It might be a mutation of a coyote or as yet an unidentified specie. Or it could be the pet of the space alien sasquatch that got loose...

The shows I've seen on the subject of the Texas chupacabras say that the ones they've found dead or have killed are canines, most often coyotes, with mange, which gives their skin that peculiar rhino-butt look.

Still, it doesn't explain why the chickens & other animals are drained of blood, or even if those canines were responsible. A dog's mouth has a very hard time doing that sucking thing, once they're past the puppy stage. They simply aren't made for it.

The animal deaths are most likely a result of some other predator.

The chupacabras in Puerto Rico are also a totally different-looking creature, from the drawings I've seen, than those dog-like critters found in Tx, Az & other south-western states.

According to ancient tales, a bigfoot looks and acts like Wood Goblin, right down to being able to dissappear into the trees and having tremendous strenth.
