The Alan Bradley Group will perform at "The Saybrook Stroll," which is scheduled for next Friday, 6-25-09, in Old Saybrook, CT.
We’ll play from 6pm to 9pm.
The Saybrook Stroll event is a town-wide event where the entire town stays open a few hours later, with sidewalk sales and venders and such.
.
We will perform right smack dab in the middle of town, on Main Street.
I believe it’s called 'Porter Plaza.’ It’s 210 Main Street, Rte.154.
Prime location.
.
There's going to be food, amusements for the kids (like the "Moon Walk," a Soccer Toss, etc).
Not sure if we'll have a tent.
.
Attendence is estimated to be between 5,000 and 10,000.
.
All in all, it sounds like fun.

Thanks, guys.
.
The group has gone through some rough times, trying to find a dependable lead (female) vocalist with the confidence and time to do the job.
We do all originals, and they take a lot more time to learn than cover songs.
We've got a singer now - possibly 2 . . . but they haven't learned all the songs yet . . .
We do a lot of jazzy instrumentals, already; so we'll be concentrating mostly on those.
Even though the singers can only do about 10 songs so far, I'm sure this event will generate enough buzz to pick up a few gigs.
And, because the crowds will be flowing, we can repeat some of the songs with lyrics, every hour or 2 . . .
.
So, I'll be spending the next week or so designing and printing and distributing flyers.
And burning & labeling CDs, and printing business cards 'n such . . .
