I was thinking about this thread yesterday and it just occured to me. I am taking a chamber music class, duh! You know, we mainly discuss the music part of chamber music, never the "room" part of chamber music. Maybe I will suggest doing some house performances.

What I could do is first find people who would be interested in having such an intimate venu, near the college. Or maybe we could do something at the neighborhood coffee house. I love cookin' with crisco

You know, I have thought about doing that for years. I have played in some really nice estates...it would be nice to do something like that at least once a week.
