Those spots were outside of his range on that day, but by no means is that note out of his normal range.

I think the shinedown guy is the best of the new as well, but he does have that samey sound.

Zip - I can relate to having an off day, but those days I choose material to fit my voice, or I alter the melody so I can hit the notes. That, imho, is what a true pro does.

Klugmo - LMAO!

ZIp i don't think any self respecting musician would allow themselves to be that controled unless you were talking about good money and long term. In which case you are right. :)

The vocals on that link are a whole different story. They friggin' rock. I take it back, it would be hard to top that guy, the way he sings THAT song.

Metal D wrote:Colors: Believe it or not...I love Shinedown!!! I also love his voice. The music is very simple, but it works. On that note...DEVOUR!!!

Funkdealer: If you are better than this, then you should get a hold of me. I need a good bass player and a good singer for this project. Shawn and I are already writing new material and our new drummer is amazing. Dude has been playing professionally since he was 12 and he's mid-20's now. BTW...depending where you're at in Cleveland, it's only an hour or so from here. Might be interesting...
