A more accurate analogue with guitarists would be the guys who show up for the audition (in a 10'x10' room) with a 200-watt Marshall stack, four guitars, and 157 effects pedals.

Too much stuff means it takes too long to set up and it's likely not going to ever sound quite as good as you hoped it would.

The funny thing about this vid is that the band is Rick K and the AllNighters...Local band, been around for 25+years or so...I thought I mentioned it somewhere on here before, but I actually bought my first bass and amp from their ORIGINAL drummer (it wasn't this guy).
Anyway, the funny thing is that the vid is getting MILLIONS of hits and the only time that Rick K is in it is to introduce the song. Having a little knowledge about Rick and his, eh, "personality" (ego), I'm sure that, while he's enjoying the attention, it's really eating him up inside. I'd almost guarantee that he never leaves the stage again!
