My first bike was a 1200 sportster. The dealer guy told me to go bigger, but for a first ride it was plenty intimidating. I was sweating and scared s*less the first time I rode it. The softail came with dealer installed Screaming Eagles, but it was too loud for the wife to ride next to. So I changed it to Vance & Hines Pro-pipes.

I have been thinking of getting rid of the softail, if things keep going as bad as they have been, I just might have to. Although I’ll cut lawns for gas money and pitch a tent before selling the Roadking.

For the most part, Phil is right. But for the last part of what I quoted here...I have to disagree...and for obvious reasons. The whole "I'll build you up if you deserve it" part. Only if you deem it necessary because it's a genre that you like.

I'll admit that there are genres that I'll never understand - screamo comes to mind - & yeah, I'm pretty rough on screamos that claim their art is called 'singing,' cuz I couldn't disagree more.

This situation was a bit different, though. Cliffy Blakemore III was just doing garage band cutting & pasting of premanufactured samples. I would never call that composition, or even creative writing. You may, if you prefer. I would blast it today just as I did, then, if someone came in here claiming to either be a musician or a composer, while posting that sh*t.

As far as Mr Musicbyd is concerned, I checked out his stuff, & his music is perfectly pleasant enough, & I wouldn't slam him at all. I could give him some pointers, if asked to give a critique, but after my introduction to the gent, I won't bother unless asked.

If he was lurking, I think he missed a lot, & prolly shoulda waited before his attack.
