Yeah Scott...it totally blows here. All the industry went away so there's almost no jobs, the meth heads from South of here and from Ohio always cause trouble and steal sh*t, the taxes are about the highest in the state for some reason, everytime that you find a good musician they seem to have pill and/or bad drug issues and aren't reliable (what ever happened to just some good green & beer?), people are rude as hell, ect., ect.
I just built a new house here 3 years ago, so I'm stuck. Waaaaaaaaaay back in the woods and you still get people nosing around your property, and then they argue with you when you tell them to get the hell off from the property. Walkin' around the woods with one of my assault rifles seems to have cured that though, LOL!
Back to the Smith's. Yep...they're regional to here, but everyone that ever been here and tries them, ends up buying a bunch of them before they leave. Just like Mason's sweet corn, and most of the other stuff that the local farmers grow around here.
I see that you're from Jersey. We used to do a lot of work at the Intec/GAF plant there. Now that's kind of tapered off, but now we're in with General Chemical and doing work for them as well. No one wants to spend any money in industry right now, so times are more than just a little tough. Rock on my friend!!!
