I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there's a Danelectro A/B/C out there that does what you're looking for - it actually does a/b and then has a C channel to bypass the switch completely. I remember seeing one for around $85 at a music shop recently. I'll stop in there this week and see if I can get you the exact model info.

Hi there, check out the Lehle range. The Little Lehle will do what you need. I have two in my rig. They're expensive, but have no earthing problems and are very solid.
