Rm I've taken everything you have said on here to account and have made policies based upon that. I do intend to take my stuff out but that also depends on me making it interesting enough for someone even to want to have a part in it, hence my silence.

Nuts and bolts for me are very important and especially in music since what you say will or if you get your wish? Be heard forever and a day. 1 good song per year suits me fine and if there is a surplus in one month then many more.

Go to 3 different open mikes, and talk to people.
Print a card up with contact info.
I use a plain piece of paper, divided into 8 cards w/ 2 photos each, hotmail address, phone #, and MySpace address.
It costs me almost nothing, so I give them away to everyone who shows an interest.
I also put all that same info on CDs, and pass them out to people who I think will actually show up at my doorstep.

When you ask someone if they want to play with you, and they say they can't, ask them if they know of anyone.
Asking people like that will result in finding triple the number of musicians that you could find on your own.

Never thought about open mic. I need to give that a shot. In the meantime, I'll be down 6 weeks on May 7 for ankle surgery, so that gives me time to practice and strategize what options I have.

I told myself that I HAVE to have a full band by July. So that puts the burden of me keeping my own word, and taking the challenge head on.

That's something I've never seen before.

The other day I was wondering if one day TM and copyrights would somehow be done away with some way. I mean, we found a way to beat the Man(Record Labels).
