"Instead of figuring out how we can deport them, we should figure out a way to make them a part of the system so they can pay into this like we all do."

There is as way. Have them come here legally like the honest people waiting in line for years to become Americans.

Would you spew the same crap to someone who cuts in front of you after you waited in line for an hour to get into a restaurant or a movie? How about if a crowd of people cut in front of you?

If not, you are a being hypocrite.

Would you say that to someone who is stealing your grand children's inheritance by bankrupting the government that is supposed to be looking out for the taxpayers of this country ... if the ones stealing your kids inheritance were American citizens? If not, you are a being hypocrite.

I might feel a bit different, if Mexico let Americans sneak across the border and get jobs, buy property, and supports them until they can get on their feet with all types of aid paid for by Mexican citizens.

Or when an American sneaks into Mexico has a baby and can call it a Mexican citizen. NONE OF THE ILLEGAL BABIES BORN IN AMERICA ARE American citizens just by being born here.
Part of the equation is that you have to be born of parents subject to and obeying the laws of this country for a child born here to be a citizen. Look it up. Just another law being broken by the corrupt powers that be. I'm sick and tired of assholes selling my country to hordes of people who don't care about it enough to even learn the language. There are cities in America where English is a second language. These people do not want to assimilate into the American culture. They would prefer to take it over.

I just don't buy into this one way crap at all. Illegal is illegal.

Never ever reward those whom don't respect our National Sovereignty or our laws.
All this BS about how we can't keep em out or cant afford to deport is BS.

Stop working them. Stop giving them free education and medical care and most will go home on their own.

Stroll across the Iranian boarder. You'll see how easy it is to close a boarder. Though you'll likely not live to tell about it.

Simple solution:
Replace the illegal migrant worker with the legal migrant worker.
Problem solved.

The only thing that stands in the way of a real solution is the people in our government whom created the problem.
Deport them too.

I think we ought to take the Borg approach.

"You will be assimillated. Resistance is futile. You will learn English. You will pay taxes. You will participate in the communities. You will become real Americans, or be deported, or die."

Small edit to a good idea:

"You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. You will learn English. You will pay taxes. You will participate in the communities. You will become real Americans, after being deported for one year and return legally, or die."

Fox News Poll: Arizona Was Right to Take Action on Immigration
By Dana Blanton
FOXNews.com

Most American voters think Arizona was right to pass its own immigration law, and think the Obama administration should wait and see how the new law works rather than try to stop it, according to a Fox News poll released Friday.

Despite protests, a new Fox News poll finds 61 percent of voters nationally think Arizona was right to take action instead of waiting for the federal government to pass legislation on immigration reform.
Most American voters think Arizona was right to pass its own immigration law, and think the Obama administration should wait and see how the new law works rather than try to stop it, according to a Fox News poll released Friday.

The new poll finds 61 percent of voters nationally think Arizona was right to take action instead of waiting for the federal government to do something on immigration. That's more than twice as many as the 27 percent who think securing the border is a federal responsibility and Arizona should have waited for Washington to act.

Most Republicans (77 percent) and independents (72 percent) support Arizona taking action. Democrats are divided: 43 percent think the state was right, while 41 percent think Arizona should have let the federal government take the lead.

Republican Gov. Jan Brewer said Arizona had to act because Washington has failed to stop the stream of illegal immigrants from Mexico. Demonstrators and others opposed to the new law have called on President Obama to stop it from being implemented. The president has said the law is "misguided," and called on the Justice Department to examine it.

Significantly more voters think the Obama administration should wait and see how the new law works (64 percent) than think the administration should try to stop it (15 percent).

To varying degrees, majorities of Democrats (52 percent), Republicans (77 percent) and independents (68 percent) think the White House should see how the law works.

The Arizona law makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. illegally and requires immigrants to have proof of their immigration status. Police officers can ask for that proof of anyone they reasonably suspect is an illegal immigrant.

Nearly half of voters — 45 percent — say they don't know enough about the new law to offer an opinion on it. Thirty-four percent favor it, and 21 percent oppose it.

Who's responsible for illegal immigration? By a 60-17 percent margin, voters think the Mexican government is the one that deserves to be targeted by protests for creating the conditions that make so many of its citizens want to leave, instead of protesting the U.S. government for having tough immigration laws.

The national telephone poll was conducted for Fox News by Opinion Dynamics Corp. among 900 registered voters from May 4 to May 5. For the total sample, the poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Stopping Illegal Immigration

Asked how to deal with illegal immigration, the poll shows large numbers favor using National Guard troops to help border patrol agents (79 percent), and imposing fines and criminal charges against employers who hire illegal aliens (79 percent).

Sixty percent favor using the U.S. military to stop illegal immigrants at the border. Support for using the military is up slightly from 55 percent in 2006, although it's down from a high of 79 percent in 2002,when memories of the 9/11 attacks were more top of mind.

Just over half of voters — 53 percent — favor building a wall or fence along the U.S.-Mexico border to stop illegal immigration.

The new poll finds the biggest concern about illegal immigration is the overburdening of government programs. Forty-four percent cite the strain on government services — far outdistancing all other concerns. About one in five (19 percent) says their biggest concern is illegal immigrants taking jobs away from U.S. citizens, while smaller numbers mention an increase in crime (6 percent) and terrorism (6 percent).

By a 7 percentage point margin, more voters say they think Republicans (42 percent) would do a better job than Democrats (35 percent) handling immigration issues. And by a much wider 20 point margin, voters think Republicans (48 percent) would do a better job than Democrats (28 percent) on border security.

The issue of immigration falls far behind other top issues on voters' minds. The economy remains the priority — in fact, the poll finds nearly 10 times as many voters cite the economy (47 percent) as immigration (5 percent) as being the most important issue facing the country today.

Hell, let's just invade Mexico, toss out the gov't & make ALL Mexicans Americans. Problem solved. No more illegals cuz they'd all be Americans, now & thier national flag would become thier state flag.

Again, if American companies wouldn't hire illegals there wouldn't be any. How thick do you have to be to not see that? Meanwhile who's going to pick fruits, clean houses and landscape for practically nothing? Not me.

It's the company's responsibility to demand a social security card is presented, NOT to verify that the card is legitimate. That would place a burden on every business, to become an investigative agency.

You just seem to hate business and want to blame them for everything.

I'm sure that it looks that way to you, Craig, but I hold to this - if you know your employees are illegals, & you do nothing, then you are aiding & abetting, which is against the law, as well, & you are actively working against the common good. You should be punished for that.

If you suspect that your employees are illegals, you have an obligation to the country to verify thier SSI cards. You cannot leave everything to the gov't. Isn't that what you tell me all the time?

If you see someone breaking the law in ways that affect other ppl, it is your duty as an American citizen to point it out to the authorities. That is part of your duty as an American, same as if you saw someone beating on a woman or a child, Craig.

I have a better idea. Send OUR "government officials" to Mexico and elect people who represent the rights and needs of legal taxpaying American citizens. And don't let those so called "government officials" back in to the USA.

The only problem with that is we elected those people to be our leaders. They aren't dictators or a monarchy. This is the will of the people. Don't like it? Organize a petition, write an editorial or do something other than bitch and moan. Or move to another country.

We elected them to represent the will of the people. There isn't a single pole out there that says they are doing that. However there are many saying they are doing almost every thing against the will of the people.

These bastards lie through their teeth day in and day out. They lied to get into office, they lie after they're in office. They lie to stay in office. They're mostly lawyers out for themselves. Just a bunch a con men with a few blind or ignorant idiots supporting them. Let us see how satisfied the people are in the next election. And the next. IF there is a next. Personally, I doubt there will be.

These clowns are hoping that there is a reason to declare martial law. The constitution is pretty much null and void under martial law. They are revealing every tactic that we have to protect us from an enemy. Name a reason for it other than they hope something happens so they can take over for good.

Russia is gearing up, China is gearing up, the Iranians are gearing up ... president Elstupido is gearing our military down. For what logical reason on earth is there to give away our military secrets and defense strategies to the enemy like these clowns are doing other than to create a crisis where they can grab and remain in power?
I just can't think of one right off the bat. Other than some Leftist socialistic pie in the sky reasoning.
