Guitaranatomy wrote:I meant to correct myself here, I said The Black Album, I confused what was asked. You said live album, well my favorite live album would probably be... I will go with Frampton Comes Alive. I do not know how many songs I know off of it, lol. But it is the only live album I can think of at this moment, I will edit this if I think of any more I liked. You're alright!
Peace out guys, sorry for the mistake above, GuitarAnatomy.

Journey/Captured
This was the album that blew my mind!
This was the album that blew my mind!
other than band of gypsies, the best live album hands down is the Allman Brothers live at Fillmore East
Metallica, "S&M"
Hetfield was just out of his mind.
Although, one of my favorite life performances is from a genre completely out of left field for me. You can YouTube it, it's The Killers, with, "Read my Mind," live from Royal Albert Hall. You can see it in the second verse where Flowers looks back at Vannucci and nods and Vannucci emphatically nods back at him.
I think that's happened to me maybe a grand total of three times in my life, where you just know that you are crushing it. Unfortunately, two of those times I was alone in my car, but the third time I made count!

Frampton Comes Alive and Cheap Trick "Live from Budokan" and Deep Purple "Made in Japan"
It is what it is until it isn't

Jerry
Zep is my all-time favorite band...but that live album? It had too many clams in it.
