I really enjoyed BAND OF BROTHERS due to the historical perspective.
I was excited when I heard they would do a similar series on the Pacific theater.
Damn was I disappointed when it turned out to be another damn sex soap opera.
I,m not naive, and know there was a lot of that going on but I'm not interested in seeing that on my TV.

Ricky, I checked out your stuff. I particularly enjoyed Little Wing. That's one song I have been trying to learn for 10 years and never got. The YouTube stuff didnt play for me though. Overall, I like your playing.

it's pretty good man i'd certainly advise checkin it out. comes on on sundays. band of brothers was freakin amazing. i heard about the pacific theater miniseries coming out i didnt realize it was out already, that's depressing it's nowhere near the caliber of band of brothers. the pacific theater has always fascinated me, i had several family members fight on that front, and it doesn't seem to get as much coverage as europe. did u happen to see wwII in hd? THAT was phenominal. to the point where i had to tell the girlfriend that i needed some alone time so i can focus on it solely hahah.

Yes I saw WWII in HD and as you said it was quite good.
I had family in Europe but have worked with many men whom fought in the Pacific.

The Series the Pacific is pitiful in comparison to B.O.B.
I'm sure we can thank the actors guild for that fiasco.
