I thought she had teared up too!

I don't know the exact words to the song but I can really see her having a personal connection to it. She had a very difficult life. Growing up in the ghetto, she had many personal issues that helped to lead her to a drug addiction but she had the strength to straighten up, marry and become successful. I have lots of respect for the girl.

Craig, Devin , my son, said that the drummer is Travis Barker. DO you know who is on piano?

JW is 100% right. That's Orianthi and Steve Vai. I've posted her on here a few times. That's who I saw open up for Steve Vai on his last tour.

Here's the two together:

Name ONE female guitar hero. I can't think of ONE. Whatever the reason women aren't known as killer lead guitarists. There's going to be one someday and that might open the floodgates for future female guitar heroes. But for right now all the guitar heroes are men...

Bob in the 80s I always thought Lita Ford did a good job on guitar.

As far as this thread Ive gone back and listened to this Stairway version again and its really not that good. I dont know why but I kinda get into American Idol and seeing what contestants bring to the table and I guess the truth is they are so lame to me sometimes that seeing Vai play Stairway at first was kinda cool. But after listening to it a couple of times, I relaize I would never go out and buy it, I wouldnt pay for a ticket to go see her do this song, maybe with Vai I might. When I sat back in my ofice with it playing it just wasnt as inspiring as it was when I saw it live the other night. Its really tough to cover these big classic songs that people hold near and dear. I actually wish they had Adam Lambert back and let him sing it instead of her.

This is just my opinion after a couple of days.
