This man probably did as much for music as we know it as anyone who ever lived.
There will never be another show like the Ed Sullivan Show, & that, peeps, is a damned shame, cuz we could surely use it today!
It wasn't just the music either, if you were ever fortunate enough to live in those times & see it. There were innumerable numbers of ppl entertaining in innumerabls ways - dog acts, mime acts, the weird & strange & the mainstream.
It was a great era in television, imho.
