Here.

This isn't a music forum at all.
Thanks to the peeps I've met.

Cheers.
Chipfryer.

Unrealistic to expect to write exclusively about music, I don’t think there’s a forum on the Net regardless of its designation that doesn’t get its share of social/Political issues spilled in it.

If you are in a band you are not going to be able to make the conversation exclusively musical, in my case before any music gets played we talk about anything and everything from the mundane to the ridiculous to the sublime to the asinine I actually look forward to that interaction followed by a good jam, rehearsal or a gig.

I don’t know if it’s a good idea to play with a bunch guys who would talk about music only, knowing the human side of musicians makes for a better band I think.

Not to mention that... Music gets written about all these same topics too.

Musicians are often at the forefront of political, religious, human rights, environmental issues... you name it!

2nd'd Chippy..

I am not reading anything about anything but music, but it's no big deal the blowhards will continue as eternal as the wind, the rain and the snow.

There...I edited that for ya brother. That sounds more like you. If not, then I'll haunt the heck out of ya on Myspace since we're friends. Hahaha!

All of us here have a ton to offer to the others. I'm almost a guru with guitar knowledge, set-ups, tech work, ect., but I know nothing about effects and such. So I offer any knowledge that I can when the opportunity arises, but I'm also not afraid to ask about what I don't know even if it sounds really stupid to other people. I can laugh at myself just as good or better than anyone else...LOL!

It's all good my man. :D

Damn that was big dECHO.
You brought something to my eye. (I mean that too) No matter I'm a human and have large faults. I'm never afraid of asking anything frankly. I love to learn, get some time in and then come back to get put in my place, I just love it.

You should never be afraid of anything dECHO. Truly this was the second post today that has inspired me because we bared words, yet here we are.

You Da Man dECHO.
Thank you very much for making my nonsense clear.
Keep well Bro.

Chippy will be back, just like Kramer.

If anyone does not want to get involved then,,,, PLEASE DO NOT.

Sans is right , I have tried to put up more musical posts, and so have many more people. Some of the non political posts have nothing to do with music EITHER.

All this stuff affects one way or another,BUT.

If all you want to talk about is the use of a Bb phrygian scale,,,,

You are boring , just as boring as hell waiting to run you over.

Now you know why I appreciate guys like Phil ,Slacker ,Jimmy , Craig, and all the others that understand music is not just about music it is about the celabration of life.

In any forum, you start out talking about what the forum is "dedicated" to. After a while you get to know the personalities that inhabit said forum and they become "friends" to you. When that happens, different conversations grow out of those relationships. Just as in "real life".

Sorry to see a "friend" go. Hopefully he will be back after time away. How can you not miss this motley crew?

Don't leave me Chippy! Baby, please don't go! :)

Seriously, I often post topics about equipment issues, and I've learned a few things. I also think it's cool to get to know about everybody here on different levels too. Musicians tend to think differently than your average Joe at times. I guess the word would be:more passionate?
