You know what Jimmy, Phil, and Rycky Tycky Tavi et al?
We can certainly find common ground in feeling anger, about people who seem to bury their heads in the sand, where scientific truths are concerned. But when some of you trash an entire state, and entire groups of people on a personal level, and make such broad, indefensible charges against whole populations, in the name of your belief in self-superiority, then you become just as extremist as those you oppose.
Are people in Texas and Georgia for example, more likely to view things through their religious and spiritual beliefs? Sure. And, this can lead to deficiencies on some issues, like acceptance of certain elements of evolution. But this is also a gift in many other areas. I can leave a bicycle or something I just bought from Walmart, in the back of an open pick-up in those places, and do so, much more safely than in Detroit, where you live, or in Washington, D.C. and New York (both of which I have lived in).
I can find a helping hand in one of those "backward" states far more quickly as well. Oh, and... I will likely
NEVER have to worry, that animals will be given status next to humans, where the law and the court system is concerned, bringing a lawsuit against my human caregivers, etc... but a northern liberal state? We may very well see ANIMALS "testifying" in courts (through their lawyers) to defend their INDIVIDUAL "rights" as if they were human beings, one day soon.

LIBERAL DUMBASSES are working on this as we speak! Others are convinced that some forms of euthanasia are beneficial, to avoid UNWANTED "human" beings, like kids with mental retardation, or some form of handicap... as long as they are put to death before they are say... 1 and 1/2 YEARS OLD!!! Obama, like Kennedy, fought for a cabinet (and czars) filled with "The best and the brightest!" and he got that... and some of the liberal "brightest" he selected are actually PROPONENTS of the very things I just mentioned!
So, don't,
FOR ONE MINUTE, smugly think that
DUMBASSES are the exclusive domain of Conservatives or the populations of Southern States. On the contrary, liberals breed their own brand of
IDIOTS, and to be honest... Theirs are
FAR MORE SCARY cause they don't value human life consistently, and they don't believe as much in NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY!
At least the dumbasses around me, don't consider field mice, as equal in value to human beings, and due equal rights. At least the dumbasses around me, actually VALUE "ALL" human life, handicapped or not!
At least Southern "dumbasses" seem to understand that merely
stepping foot on
OUR SOIL, no more makes you a
CITIZEN, than someone breaking into, and
walking around... "YOUR HOUSE", makes that criminal, a
CO-OWNER of
YOUR house.
Liberals often think they are so profoundly intelligent, that they ignore
BASIC TRUTHS that are sometimes
FAR MORE IMPORTANT in life, than the most joyful of creative intellectual meanderings, which may serve no useful practical purpose at times.
