Ha ha!

Well, sorry, but I like Creed too...

I guess I like too many groups... even hated ones! 8)

As silly as it seems, I think a lot of the reason I don't like NICKELBACK is that they are hugely popular. Plus, I hate their lyrics. "I like yer pants around yer feet... " GAG!

A comedian once said that with most music, 'Either it's too popular to be good, or too good to be popular'.

Tremonti is one of the few guitarists in the post-grudge era who is actually playing guitar!

LOL, I remember a couple of years ago, bunch of guys at work were telling me how amazing the guitarist for creed was, as if Yngwie himself drove down and gave him the crown or something..

I pulled up some videos, and what did I see?

Some dude wanking away at what he thought was a zillion miles perhour, making 3000 flubs and mistakes along the way, probably excusing his poor wanking in the name of "grunge", and NOTHING he soloed sounded even remotely original or personal. I heard some Page, some Blackmoore, and even some Rhoads in his playing, but it came off more like a 3-year beginner trying to imitate any of them rather than a versatile player.

Of course, that's just my opinion :)

Flame away LULZ.

I'm glad no one lumped Pearl Jam in with them... 8)

Easily one of my favorite bands and it'd be quite hard to find two of their songs that sound the same. They evole almost every album and are fantastic live.

I just wish I could understand what the f**k Eddie Vedder was singing sometimes. :?

I don't think anyone's going to lump Pearl Jam in with Creed or Nickleback, at least not if my daughter is around. She will kick the snot out of you LOL.

It's envy

There's a sense that because Nickelback isn't more talented or creative than any other garage band out there, therefore they don't "deserve" to make more money than any other garageband out there.

People like to stick there noses in other people's business instead of focusing on their own creative pursuit. That's all it is. No one complains about succesful liquer stores when other stores are ghetto. It's limelight envy.

Not that again!

I thought I explained that I was on a mission, since "ALOT" makes more sense than "A LOT" does! ;-)

And actually...

Jumping on Yngwie would ensure that I get "a lot" -AND- "ALOT"!!!

After all, there are ALOT of fans of a guy who can soul-lessly sweep pick harmonic minor scales all day long!

LOL!!!

Craig Maxim <----- Is Ducking From the Rotten Tomatos being thrown his way!

Yes, that again :)

I'm on a mission too; to preserve what little is left of the English language.
