Odd that innit RGM?
Immediately I looked for a song written some time ago. I thought it was the 80's but it was 70's.

Perhaps the world has been knocked off kilter, or minds have? Not sure on that at all really but I think minds MISELF!

Great tune and lyrics. Short, sweet and to the point. He's a Cult item now just because of this tune. Oddly too, people are looking for it just like I did just now.
Go figure, cabbage head huh?

Sorry had to do this. Let's see this for what it really is?
You grab a cat that is haunting you with noise. You say that the noise is what bothers you correct?

So you fill a bin with 6 inches of water, cover it fully knowing that the poor animal cannot get out HIS LEGS WILL FAIL and will drown.
I suspect from this you place said bin somewhere YOU CANNOT HEAR THE SCREAMS!

I love everything that lives, and that is passed too. Bandmix is a waste of time for me.

Oh well. Another day in paradise.

Dewy wrote:Instead of "Skin a cat" lets use the analogy "Bathe a cat".

Many ways to bathe a cat, true... but only one "Right way". By right way I want to make sure the cat gets a thorough bath, and I don't end up wearing ground Dewy.

Only way to do that is put 8 inches of water and a bit of soap in a garbage can, drop the cat in and pop the lid on.

I will laugh heartily at anyone trying to do it differently and offer them first aid and decent advice.

Now, maybe I'm closed minded not listening to anyone else on their ideas on cat bathing... or maybe I've done it a few times and have enough clues to add up to a solved mystery.

When you're shredded and bleeding, scowling at a mad, sudsy cat sometime... give ol' Dewy's trick a try.

Whatever happened to the woman the movie Sybil was based on
Which one? (multiple personality joke)

I love everything that lives

Having read some of your posts Dewy you seem to be a very erudite person, and knowledgeable in many fields.

I'm sure this was a joke.

Having looked up erudite and added a new word to my vocabulary today, I thank you. I am sort of a jack-of-all trades, mastering few... perfecting none. I have built swimming pools, installed everything in a house... was a licensed plumber/ gasfitter, and at a separate time a licensed electrician. I've dug tunnels under highways with dynamite and jackhammers and installed carpets and sand and finished hardwood flooring (my preferred trade...).

That's just the "mastered" list... in addition I have been a Soldier in the U.S. Army, a life long musician/ brother/ son/ father and as such a teacher/ electronic tech/ car and small engine repair/ mule. I've been a foreman and ditch digger... I've worked in nursing homes as the maintenance guy, and been home health care for my Grandfather and mother.

Currently Farming (Garden and chickens mostly), running a computer repair business as a charity it seems, and maintaining the network at my wife's business, an accounting firm. Other than that I spend (waste) my time reading the internets and occasionally posting long winded diatribes about things I have knowledge or an somewhat informed opinion about.

I assure you that all cats I have ever put "in the can" were in need of a flea dip, and infrequently touched the bottom of the can. They all exited like the reported "bat outta hell" and spent weeks perfecting a look to send me straight back from whence they came. Flealess I might add, with minimum damage to cat AND the Dewy.

I too love all life, and regret every single one that I have had to take or give up hope for. I would never condone inhumane treatment of animals, thus I grow my own food as much as possible.

I realized that nothing I say, nothing I do, and nothing I believe will ever change anything or anyone. You can't save people from themselves.

So I just keep on truckin, doing my own thing, and don't bother wasting my time on people who aren't willing to help themselves.

While many of you will see this as a political statement, it's actually mostly in reference to personal relationships - and how that attitude works here, there, and everywhere.

Captn scott got it right, I think.

@ Dewy no worries man.

Kramer.
Could be, could be?

I'm a great believer in community. When something dumbs it up, destroys its path, goal then it gets me a little. We are naught without each other, something that is often forgotten and if you are lucky and a solo survivor then more power to you too, but its as lonely as heck out there when you need a hand and everyone will at some point, even if its to see you off.

Nice to see you have your head screwed on Kramer. I'll probably do a Kramer and dip out for a bit too. Glad also your hand is all nicely fixed up and rocketing.

Best regards.
