Enjoyed it.
Do you miss being lead singer?
That one guy was handy... guitar, keys PLUS back-up vocals.

Thanks guys, I have had these for about a year and a half but didn't want to post them because of the audio quality. These vids were taken with a cell phone. The only reason they sound even halfway descent is because that p.a. was kickin @ss.
That keyboard guys name is Barry and he is a musical soulmate. Hell he's family now He married my ex sister in law LOL! He plays the hell out of the harmonica, He plays key's, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar and he ain't a bad singer. He is an engineer with a major oil co. and he is a few years away from retireing and they promoted him so now he travels all over the world for the next couple of years untill he retires. I have played in bands with him for the last 10 years. He thinks I hung the moon when it comes to guitar. No actually I don't consider myself that great of a lead singer I know I can sing lead but I want to work with a better singer than me LMAO!
I have become very frustrated trying to find the right band. I have had lots of offers but I really want to play with the right group of people. I have decided I am not going to play in a half@ssed band. I have been talking to a friend that does a one man show with backing tracks and I mean this guy does it to where it really sounds like a band. He is going to help me get started. Show me how he does it. That way I can play at the level I want and not have to worry about musicians and their attitudes. I have been looking for a band for over a year now and so far I have found 1 situation that fits the bill but they won't make a decision as to which guitar player they want. So for now I am going to pursue the one man show untill I can find the right band.

Loved this Haley. I'm in with live sound its something I'm working on right now as regards my recordings and though that might not seem the right thing to do I like it.
Do you you YouTube too please?
Very nice and really clinical too.
Best Haley.
Chippy.

That was so much fun I got stoned and watched it again.
Videos sure are fun.
That was just like being there.
( I'm always seated a mile away with people walking in front of me all the time with everything sounding like I was listening through a straw. )

philbymon wrote:Great vocals, JH! Too rarely do I see a band with decent b-u vox. I'm sick of the single singer bands. It was a good job all around.
Yeah, and 3 out of the 4 were singing!
Some were going flat here and there, bu whatever... 3 out of the 4 were singing!!! I got overjoyed, when I just got ONE OTHER member of my old band, that could sing!
It's not always that easy finding guys that play well, AND sing!

I try to give 'em the benefit of the doubt in live performances, Craig. Too many variables can make ya go a little off, & they weren't off by far.
THIS is what's missing in 99% of the bands I see - multiple vocals. If you don't have harmony, imho, you're missing a good 1/2 of the performance, when it's called for.

SMILE - it's the safest way to spread your cheeks!
Thanks Philby, that is one of the things that have kept me from joining the bands that have offered me a position. There has to be at least 3 singers in a band that I will play in. Not that I think I am all that, but there is nothing that makes music MORE enjoyable to me than Harmony. I mean a vocal harmony when it is on is euphoria to me. Also instrumental harmony is important too. Those other two guys are also lead singers. Especially that base player. That guy has a really good voice.

Couldn't agree more brother!
Wished we lived around each other.
Would be the basis for one HELL OF A BAND!
