General Music Chat

Now that we are getting some gigs you'd figure that it would be easier to get a permanent fourth band member. It seems like it's harder. We've had some excellent players sit in with us recently and I'm grateful for that, BUT there has to be somebody out there who has the wherewithall to make it to a few rehearsals per month and commit to playing with us. As soon as I mention the word "rehearsal" I get answers like "I don't have time for that" or "What do we have to rehearse for?" or "I don't need to rehearse." As soon as we have enough material to gig then the word "rehearsal" is akin to "disease" or something. If you want to be in a good band then either sh*t or get off the pot...

YEAH , NO JOKE.
Try some of the people here and other sites,,,, When you mention work[rehearsal]...... "I didn't think I would actually have to show up"
