I ask this question because there is a lot of talent about.
Probably my last big question on this ethos too apart from technical stuff here and there.

First let me provide some examples here if you will and please this is not intended in any way to pigeon hole people its just a thought.

Craig:
Excellent vocalist, been around for ages, obvious deep religious roots, great songs.
Crip:
Great gitbox player, has an eye for promotional techniques and so on.
Neandapaul:
Another great vocalist, religious and is heading up there through YouTube.
Halo:
What can I say about him? No vocation stated, It's all about the beat, that reggae.
RM: Totally devoted to music and writing new songs, no vocation.

These if you can remember were my top 5 and still are frankly. Prevost it seems will always come and nick the pie at the last moment however
So what is your take? Would you prefer record sales to a blunt and straightforward hardcore who tell you "I Want This, and Now!" Or just record, recording rights?

For me it will always be about people, getting feedback and creating something people like or want but the music field is different. Sometimes you have to create your own market right? So what do you think?

Hell no. If I can't play what's in my head I can't play.

It's always about what I hear and the passion of playing that with soul, or not being able to do my best. I would rather quit playing than not be able to do my best to express what I am hearing in a song to others.

Oh Dear :(
What I meant was that everyone takes something into their music and that makes up part of the music consciousness. Could be 1 could be 15, it really doesn't matter, everyone brings something.

So given that this is the deal, would you be happy with just recording sales or is it much deeper? Sorry I mentioned religion, I just feel it had a validity given that the whole Forum was talking about it!

Also.................

I remember better times here. When peeps could have a laugh about just anything.

We have a cult following, just enough apparently to get repeat gigs at a real dive. Just need a few more dives to get repeat gigs, then maybe our small cult following will grow into a little bigger cult following...

We're on a mission from God. 8)

Hardly Sans.....
If that were the case you wouldn't be in the studio mixing it up to get on with it right?
There are a lot of people here with a lot of talent, (sadly most are quite of late).
I put that down to RGP Religion ~ Gun and Politics talk myself.

Mind it doesn't bother me that much any more, there is a vast planet out there with some more amazing people in it. So my droning pointless posts out to try and interest serious people is becoming a lost cause. That is the main reason I don't comment on peoples music anymore. I'm one of about 5 that does so.

Most places are relatively quite, some are really busy. The really busy ones are very well organized. I like just about everyone here.......

So RGP it is. Thing is when it stops it causes a vacuum and just like a teenage dance floor no one wants to be first to dance in a vacuum, but to be honest the quiet only lasts just so long, just like it did here. Missions ~ God and Guns never go together very well. Thats why we are in the mess we are in...............
