Finally it has come true. How many times have you witnessed an a-hole driver do something completely illegal and there never is a police car around. I was driving in traffic today. There was a police car right in front of me. An a-hole came out of a side street right through a stop sign and plowed into the car right in front of the police car. Hallelujah! Poetic justice at last!! :D :D

Ya know, it's funny, but every time I see a cop catch an a-hole doing something illegal or stupid it turns out that I'm the a-hole.

I stopped and thanked the State Trooper one day in a similar situation.
He was somewhat startled ( I don't recommend doing it by the way )
and said CAN I HELP YOU SIR rather tersely.
When I said, I just wanted to thank you for getting this asshole (pointing at the other driver) off the road before he kills someone.
The Trooper was still laughing when I drove away.

One time I witnessed a terrible wreck which took place in front of many people. I was the only one who stopped and gave a report of the wreck to an arriving policeman. The wreck occured at a very busy interesection which was under construction. The old guy driving didn't understand all the screwed up signs and lights and drove right into on-coming traffic. I'm still amazed at the complete lack of citizens who don't give a sh*t to stop and lend a hand or give an eye-witness report...

For sure Bob.
Several years ago on my way to work on a Saturday morning I passed a young woman whom had hanged herself with the triangular flag streamer off a large light pole in front of a Fireworks retail store.
Surely I was not the first to pass by. Perhaps I was the only one to notice her. Unfortunately she was quite dead though still warm when I got to her. I waited about 40 minutes beside her for the police to show up. Not one soul stopped, not one. That poor girl hanged there for nearly two hours before they would cut her down.

Damn, that's a shame. Helluva way to commit suicide. A friend of mine many years ago was jogging and saw a guy hanging from a rope in the woods, also a suicide. I'll bet people did notice her but thought she was some sort of mannequin or something...

When I first drove by I was like WTF??
But being very aware of my surroundings due to all my training I had to go back for a look see. I turned around and as I closed the distance I remember saying out loud " man that's a sick joke " thinking she was a mannequin due to her pallor. Then I could see the foam in her mouth as she had strangled to death in a semi seated position.
DAMN !!

When I called the unit to let them know I would be late for work the Nurse who answered the phone said " OH George, you always have the best excuses"
