I'll list a couple of albums that I think are total classics that don't get that run (yet). - Both from the 90's

Ten - Pearl Jam
August and Everything After - Counting Crows

Anyone else have any to add that you think have 'slipped through the cracks'?

Ah from the 90's. I would ad:

1) Nevermind - Nirvana
2) BadMotorFinger - Soundgarden
3) Dirt - Alice in Chains
4) Purple - STP
5) Siamese Dreams - Smashing Pumpkins

Good ones.

Here's few that I consider modern classics:

XTC - Oranges and Lemons
Depeche Mode - Violator
The Cure - Disintegration
King Crimson - Vroooom
Morrissey - Viva Hate

I like any Living Colour, doesnt matter which one other than the last one and that terrible version of Back In Black, why o why did that put that out!

Im with you on Ten and BadMotorfinger, if you are into Soundgarden, I still listen to Louder Than Love, that song Ugly Truth (If you were mine to give I might give you away) always loved that line.

You could open a can of worms with a thread like this cause everyone has their faves.

I like Dirt also, that song Would still gives me chills for some reason, something about the way that bass starts off.

Okay, I'll get blasted for this, but I think Phish's "Hoist" belongs here. The odd intro to "Down With Disease" is absolutely killer. Every song but one on the album is great, & they cover a few genres on this one. "A Picture Of Nectar" is another great album, too.

I also quite enjoyed Train's self-titled debut album.

Matchbox Twenty's "Exile On Mainstream" was also very good.

I've also liked a lot of the Offspring, but I don't remember the names of the CD's.

I'm on board with: Ten - Pearl Jam, Dirt - Alice in Chains, Purple - StoneTemplePilots ( I'd also add "Core" to the list ) and Nevermind - Nirvana. For me, Superunknown - Soundgarden, Follow the Leader - Korn, Aenima - Tool, Make Yourself - Incubus, Dogman - Kings X, Under the Table and Dreaming - Dave Matthews Band and although, I'm not a fan of rap, The Marshal Mathers Lp - Eminem.

I won't get into the metal releases, as it is my favorite music form, the list would be quite long.
