Mayor Bloomberg, city of New York, independently wealthy politician....
First he had term limits overturned, so he could stay IN POWER. He changed the rules with his money,,,, THIS IS ABOUT POWER .
Well , he just set up and sent undercover sting operations into THE SOVEREIGN STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA. Search and destroy any one selling guns to NY residents.
If I was Phil or anyone else from WV, I would be screaming.
Remember , this is not a state governor, this is a mayor!!!! What next, lets start to tax PA because they might some day use the NYC transit system
Unbelievable and you can't make this stuff up.

Trust me - if I was to sell my guns, I wouldn't give a damn where the buyer comes from, & I wouldn't give a damn about gov't restrictions.

Screw the Mayor if NYC. As far as I'm concerned he can take a flying leap off the Empire State Bldg.

If I needed $ that badly, I'd sell 'em without caring what he thought of it.

In fact, NYC seems a pretty good place to commit a gun-totin' crime, doesn't it? I might hafta take me a lil trip...

Still snowing every other day here. I can't even remember the last time it got up to freezing. This is the suckiest winter that I can remember. And I have been around for a while. No warming in this weeks forecast. But we still have snow in the forecast.

I hope it warms up and the snow melts by July. But I doubt that the snow will be gone. This is crap.

We're actually behind what we received last year here in Detroit. It hit 32 yesterday and I saw people at the grocery store in shorts.

We have another 4-5 inches coming today. Last year they called that a "major snow storm." This year they're saying "it's only 4 or 5 inches." HAH!!!!

Just after 3 PM & it;s been snowing for over 2 hours...ICK!

This is nothing new. He has been in court and lost several times over this same shenanigan. If he is sooooo against guns why do his guards carry full auto ?????

Im gonna talk snow.

The last 3 weekends weve had some snow here in west TN. Thats probably a record cause we ussually only get snow once maybe twice and thats just a dusting.

Temps are below average, and being in the propane business this is nice, now if folks can just pay us for what theyve used!

Of course half my day in the office is explaining to people they probably dont have a leak its just colder than normal.

Snow is all gone now, just mud left over. Sunshine & 50 degrees.

We had 8 inches fall here last friday evening. The roads were clear by lunch time on saturday. The snowman my grandson built out by my pond looks a little strange today.

The reason I bring his name up is I was remembering the time he had problems with the good ole you guessed it I.R.S. and I just wanted the rest of my fellow musicians in this great country to know how us Texans think! Willie a musician finally started making a lot of money and as you guys know musicians ain't used to that. He got some bad advise from someone he trusted and the Gov. moved in to stake their claim and then some! As you probably know Philby that is when Willie made a deal with the I.R.S. to record an Album and the Gov. would recieve the proceeds the name of that album (in the 80's) was called the I.R.S. tapes. WHO KNEW! That wasn't enough! The I.R.S. went thru his Ranch (Yes Rich Texans Have A Ranch) and liquidated his possesions. The I.R.S had an auction. They proceeded to auction his things to other rich Texans that bought them and guess what they did with them? They gave them back to him (That Is What It Is to Be A Texan). I think this mentality comes from the fact that Texas is so big that in the old days when you finally saw another human being you were so happy to have fellowship with another human being that you called him neighbor. That is why we are so friendly down here.

Similar things have happened in this part of the country, JH. I love those stories.

Most times I am envious of you guys (as a flatlander) I think ya'll live in Gods Country LMAO! (no pun intended) I know you guys are experiencing the equivelent of our Hurricane Ike and I wouldn't wish that on anyone especially my Bro. and Sis. musicians. Now I know why you guys are such bad ass musicains. What else can you do in a frozen cold ass winter like this, I know what I would do! I would cozy up to my fav. guitar and I would play my ass off till it Thawed!
