Glen, someone already explained WHY it's snowing record amounts in another thread.

Either make a logical counterpoint, or STFU already.

I saw a little bit of it. Can't say I saw the whole thing. It's pretty big, isn't it?

I wasn't all that impressed with the bit that I saw, though. (sorry sans & JH)

Mesquite trees are ugly lil things, & San Angelo is kinda flat. Sorta depressing, really...'bout a 1/2 step away from the depression I saw in Mexico...

The Dallas/Fort Worth area got almost a foot of snow last week and this has been one of the coldest winters Texas has seen in decades. How are the rest of you guys around the country enjoying these nice warm temps. that our leaders are telling us is global warming? How long are we supposed to believe that B.S.? I have recently seen a report of the carbon dioxide levels across the country. There is an area in the Southwestern United States that is spewing CO2 from the ground that is getting caught up in the jet stream and blowing via prevailing winds from the west to east direction and is the reason for the high CO2 levels in the Eastern U.S. If I were one of you Libs. I wouldn't be so all fired up to give up your rights and allow this socialist government to bankrupt this country with high taxes via the cap and trade legislation during one of the worst economic downturns in my 51 years of existence here on this planet. The current Pres. and liberals say they love jobs but they hate the people who create them and want to raise their taxes thus causing them not to do any hiring. Why do you think Texas is not hurting from this economic downturn as badly? There are many reasons but some of the main ones are, we do not have a State income tax and we give tax breaks to corp. YES THE RICH! so they will relocate there businesses here thus diversifying and stimulating the local economy's. Some of you more Liberal folks that have been complaining on these threads as of late are the main ones bitching about not having a job. Yet you are the ones that live in Dem states that are crushing their economies with these high taxes forcing the corps to leave your states.
This is the very reason corps are leaving the U.S. for foreign country's because we can't compete with the unfair trade practices from the rest of the world. Sorry for the rambling but I just couldn't keep my yap shut any longer. Us conservatives are tired of this crap too, the rest of you Texas haters continue on with your idea that Texans are stupid i.e. a comment someone made that Bush is a dumbass. I disagree with most of what he did also and while I don't believe any one party is 100% to blame. To me it is similar to a failed marriage both parties have ownership in this current mess America is in IMO. It is up to us to TAKE AMERICA BACK AND FIX THIS MESS!

It's snowing because it's faqing cold and there is moisture in the air.
I am no longer surprised by liberal though arrogance that some how mankind has control over anything. Like those dickheads in Europe protesting for the government to lower the global temp by a set amount  Like there is some kind of thermostat at the White Whore House.
We are not in control.
Enjoy the ride !!

Kramer you just proved yourself as a radical shoot anyone that disagrees with you type dictator. Allready you want me to STFU because people like me stand behind my constitutional principles. The only way you will ever get people like me that don't fit into your radical plans to STFU is to kill us. From what youve written I wouldn't put it past you and your TYPE.
This was just meant to be a funny commentary on global warming, that almost everyone got. Major snow in Texas, snow in DC they haven't seen in100 years, and then NY gets hammered. Are we having fun yet
You keep your radical views coming Kramer,it is the main reason why you keep complaining. Remember into each life a little snow must fall

Hey Hailey, I'm starting to really like Texas, from what you are saying. DO you think its cold enough yet for me to relocate my small heating business to Texas? Should I bring a plow and sanding equipment? I could sure use those tax breaks about now. :)

George I was wondering how you were doing yesterday, started to call you while I was out taking pictures of the snow. North Louisiana gets snow about as infrequently as your area, so I went out and got some pics.

Inch of snow or a bit more here but gone by late afternoon, can't tell it ever happened this morning.

I try to stay out of political discussions, so I'll just say I hate all politicians, no matter what party. I think their best function would be target practice...

I think this global warming just might freeze us all to death...

Entrepreneurs with good business sense a good product or service and Texas style commitment to good workmanship are still doing quite well in our state. If you bullshit a Texan or don't stand behind your product or service 100% word gets around and you will fail. (this is not a personal shot Glen just an general observation)
A mans word and his handshake still means something to many people down here.
Local people expect honesty and integrity, and will pay extra for it.
One of my coworkers had her carpets cleaned last week by a national chain.
They stole her rings !! And now everybody she knows has knowledge of it too.
If she had asked me I could have turned her on to my Kung Fu brother who has his own business (and doing well for himself).
Not only whould her carpet be clean enough to eat off of. But she would still have her rings too.

Dont they still hang ring thieves down there? Isn't that a disgrace that a national company would have perps like that working for them.
Its like I told Philby, putting together a coalition of local , honest , craftsmen , is an awsome idea. People every where love the values you guys seem to keep.

Man I,m doing great. Some big limbs to cut up and burn after the thaw but other than that life is grand. The 30 mile drive to work was strangely beautiful despite being predawn. there was an almost continuous aqua green glow to the night sky, like an aurora borealis effect. Some have said it was related to many power failures and the associated arcs. If it was I should be ashamed of myself for thanking God for the light show.

Glen
A lot of Texas people continue to have a very independent spirit coupled with an "old west" type belief that a mans word is his bond. Unfortunately we can no longer just shoot all the freaking scumbags that take advantage of this basic trust.
"Trustworthy " business pacts are already big down here. Unfortunately much of the unskilled labor used by national "chains" is either dope heads, illegals, or banjo pickers trying to get enough money together to fix their pulp wood truck. :(

I was merely suggesting you stop making yourself look like a complete dumbsh!t, simply because someone already countered your argument in another thread, yet you choose to completely ignore that, and just repeat the same thing, actually create a separate thread, as if doing that just proves your point by proxy...

So.. either you disagree with the explanation, and you have a valid counter-argument, or you are a fool. I'd explain it deeper, but you are honestly incapable of understanding, so basically I will just STFU myself and let you continue to embarrass yourself here.

Goodnight.

By the way, after this reply, I'm quite seriously done with these political and religious threads. They serve no purpose here other than breeding hatred and intolerance. Good luck with your life, and please - seek help, talk to your doctor about prozac or something. I'm not saying that to attack you, I seriously think you need to seek some kind of help. Your aggressions are not normal. I think if you did, you might someday thank me. The ball is in your court. Peace.

I'm great, and it's another day in paradise, as #1 would say.
