Or maybe she didn't want to read from a piece of paper and reveal what a dim bulb she really is.

One her other hand it probably read:

"Make dinner for Todd"
"Wash red dress"
"Think of excuse for Rush using the word 'retard'"

Perhaps a pair of huge prompters were too pricey for her. That doesn't bother Obama though. (He hauls them around on your dollar)

He couldn't even remember what he said and read the prompter twice, repeating himself word for word at one press conference. For a whole paragraph!! And didn't even realize it? Hello.... anyone home in there? Bet the guy who was slow in turning the page doesn't work there anymore.

He even used teleprompters to speak to grade school kids. Yeah, I already know. It was denied. But there was a picture in the newspaper showing them in use while he spoke to about 20 kids. And that was taken by the liberal media. Bet someone got their A$$ in hot water over that one.

Yeah. They ought to outlay writing on hands. Sounds good to me. Writing on hands is cheating.

I'm sure it's just a trick she picked up in high school:

Washington - first president
9 X 7 = 63
Japan - who we fought in WW II (or was it Germany?)

So which hand do you write your death metal lyrics on Ryan :)

Ha, you must use a very small font indeed :)

Of course no one can understand anything death metal vocalists sing anyway so why bother.

Jimmy, you know this much ado about nothing!

There's nothing wrong with writing down a few talking points. Much worse, is Obama not being able to speak intelligently on ANYTHING without a teleprompter, which he even has a mobile transportable version and uses it EVERY SPEECH. We've all seen him repeat the same lines, because he forgot where he was, and we have seen him come to a grinding halt and REFUSE to speak, until the prompter caught up with him.

At least Sarah just had a few talking points, and could speak in detail on each subject WITHOUT written notes or a teleprompter.

All the jokes, I probably could have joined in, like... "What... is this 6th grade again or something?" - Except for one little fact...

Many people do this, including INTELLIGENT people, and ESPECIALLY "women".

I have witnessed MANY women I have known in my life, who think nothing of scribbling a note, a list or a phone number, right on their hand. I used to laugh about it, as being juvenile. But I have seen too many SMART women, who do this, and who think nothing of it. It is probably more of a woman thing, but I know the intelligence of women I have seen do this.

I just think of it as cute now.

As to the term "Retard"

Like it or not, THERE IS, a difference in using that term as an "entertainer" (which is all Rush Limbaugh is to me) or anyone who is a comedian, or opinion show host, than someone who holds an official title in the White House.

I think she should have come out and held him to the fire as well though, if she was going to do the same to Rahm Emanuel.

But in fairness, THERE IS a difference between these two "jobs".

But, Palin haters...

Mark my words... God likes Sarah Palin. She has come along at this time for a reason. She will probably be President one day. When she was running with McCain, I got an inspiration that she was going to save our country in a time of turmoil. I didn't know how this would happen as Vice President, so I assumed McCain would die in office, if he won the election. But of course, Obama won, and that explains that to me.

She will be a very important and influential person for this nation's security one day. It may very well be the 2012 election, who knows?

But just remember what I say here and now, without shame...

God has His hand on Sarah Palin. This is something I "KNOW" and I have "NEVER" been wrong, about ANYTHING that God tells me. Not once. I know when it is Him revealing things to me, as opposed to my own thoughts and emotions.

And remember this...

Just because she is not an Ivy League College graduate, does not mean that she would not make an excellent leader. Too often in history, the most intelligent and Ivy League Graduates, were the WORST Presidents, or made horrible decisions in THEIR OWN interests, because they lacked VALUES.

Richard Nixon was one of the most intelligent Presidents we have had in the 20th century, and look at the mess he put the nation in. Jimmy Carter was a nuclear physicist and may very well be the SMARTEST President we have had in the 20th century. How was his presidency?

During the JFK administration, the Vietnam War was micromanaged by a group referred to as "The Best and The Brightest" who were all Ivy League College graduates, and could very well have been the SMARTEST (meaning highest IQ's) of any administration we have had for a very long while. Kennedy promised the nation, the smartest group of cabinet members he could find, and he hand selected each of these very smart individuals.

How did the Vietnam War turn out?

Then, we have a few Presidents that come to mind. The first of which WAS NOT a college graduate at all, and the second of which did NOT go to an Ivy League College, and had a meager education.

Harry Truman
Ronald Reagan

BOTH are considered to have been very good presidents and STRONG LEADERS.

Leadership has as much, if not more, to do with CHARACTER and STRONGLY HELD BELIEFS, and DEDICATION TO THEIR PRINCIPLES, than it has to do with raw IQ.

Just watch. The more attacks she gets, the more spiritual debt is being built up, in her favor. She has already proven that she can stand the test of fire, of staying in the kitchen, no matter how hot the flames.

She has VERY POWERFUL leadership skills, and she has already proven herself a worthy leader, in her own State, in MANY positions of power she has held.

I keep telling you, that you have NOT seen the last of Sarah Palin.

And one day, you will remember my words.

Her place in history is bigger and more important, than anyone's pleasure at her being a punching bag, or in their absolute FEAR of what she is capable of, which is EXACTLY why, the President's Press Secretary somehow finds time DURING A PRESS CONFERENCE to mock her, and crack jokes about her OPENLY, when supposedly she is "so irrelevant" as the liberal leadership and liberal media keep insisting.

So irrelevant, that the President's own Press Secretary finds it necessary to take jabs at her personally, during an official PRESS CONFERENCE.

Yeah. Keep spewing that party line.

Quite obviously she is NOT irrelevant to them, or they would simply ignore her, like they do the words of LEADERS of entire NATIONS, when they are spouting rhetoric.

The leaders of Iran and Venezuela, etc... can be ignored by this administration without issue, but not Sarah Palin?

Who are you guys fooling?

I write notes on my hands all the time.

Unlike Ryan I will stop at the hands.

Craig, you mention Ronald Reagan as being a great president, but his son declares her a nitwit.

You also neglected to mention Bill Clinton; we have not known and will not know times as great as we had under his presidency for many years. My house doubled in value, my income increased by a factor of at least five and my 401K swelled to nearly 100K during the 90's. All of that ended when Bush took over. Must have slipped your mind.

The Republican party has written her off as a liability and too far right. Which party will nominate her? Oh yeah the Tea Party lol.

Since you have a close personal relationship with God please tell Him I think He's slacking off, we need a miracle or two down here.

You mean his son "Ron"?

But his other son Michael Reagan, had this to say...

"I strongly disagree with my brother, Ron Reagan's assertions that our father, Pres. Ronald W. Reagan, would not support the Tea Party Movement in this country and Sarah Palin's activism, if he were alive today.

"Pres. Reagan championed freedom throughout the world. He believed in the power of the people. His fundamental core beliefs about individual freedoms and liberties, and against government intrusion into the lives of citizens, were foremost on his agenda.

"I believe he would embrace the Tea Party Movement, if he were alive today, and support the work of Sarah Palin, Scott Brown and others who espouse conservative principles, who are opening up the eyes of the public to what is happening to our nation.

"In 1976 and 1980, and throughout his presidency, Pres. Reagan worked tirelessly to build the conservative movement and the Republican Party through the grassroots. He knew what it took to build a movement.

"Unlike my brother, I campaigned with and for my father in 1976 and in 1980 – and I feel more qualified to say what he would and would not have supported. He would be applauding the grassroots organization of this country and Sarah Palin for making herself available to elect conservative candidates.

I've always liked Michael better. He was adopted, but he was the real son of Ronald Reagan in heart and spirit, and VALUES!

Conservatives have some legitimate issues with President Clinton, national security among them.

But I think he governed very close to the middle for the most part. Although, giving him complete credit for the economy is not merited. The President has much less to do with the economy, than the Congress who holds the purse strings and writes the bills. And that Congress was Republican. Still, Clinton signed them.

I'll agree with you, that he was a pretty good President for the most part.

But I never said that you could not be SMART and still be a good leader. Just that leadership is derived from other values and skills, more than raw intelligence.

jimmydanger wrote:All of that ended when Bush took over. Must have slipped your mind.

That's not accurate. The economy grew about 19% during the 8 years of the GWB administration. It outpaced most other industrial countries during that time period. Things went south in the last year or two of his presidency, but much of that was due to the economic strains of fighting two simultaneous wars. He had an enormous challenge facing him, and the nation, in the events of 9/11, which occurred only 3 months into his presidency!

We can't know whether Bush would have turned it around, if his Presidency was another few years longer. You can blame him anyway, since he pushed us into the wars, and that is fair. But then it has to be determined whether what he did (seeking to give us a foothold in the Middle East and begin a democracy that could spread) was the right thing to do or not. You won't believe that it was. But I do believe that it was the right thing to do. We all watched his father withdraw us from Iraq the first go around, and he LIED to the Kurds about American support for their revolts. Just like JFK LIED to the rebels trying to overthrow Castro with the Bay of Pigs fiasco.

BOTH MEN "Bush Sr." and "JFK" brought SHAME to our country, and our position as SUPPORTERS of freedom and democracy.

I loathe BOTH of them for this aspect of their Presidencies!

She is loved by a strong representation of Conservatives. The good ole boys, holding the longest tenure may have a problem with her, but not because she is too conservative. She represents mainstream America, and not the afternoon scone eating elite, who went to ivy league schools, and like their cushy power that comes from having a near life-time membership in the Senate! She brought ethics charges against members of her own party in Alaska, and they didn't like it. I imagine some of those old stalwarts that hate Palin from the Republican ranks, could be worried that the house she wants to clean... is their own! After all, she proved that she would vote AGAINST Republicans, if they strayed from the basic ideals of the Republican Party.

They are just as afraid of her, as the liberals are!

I LOVE IT! :D

jimmydanger wrote:Since you have a close personal relationship with God please tell Him I think He's slacking off, we need a miracle or two down here.

We are the ones slacking off. We are the ones comfortable in our own selfish pursuits, with little concern for those who really need some help.

God NEVER slacks off.

He cares about every one of us.

He would like nothing more, than for POLITICS and RELIGION and all the rest of it, to begin to accept that we are all a FAMILY, and that humanity MUST solve it's problems and face the challenges of the future, as ONE PEOPLE. He desires that LOVE rule our hearts, rather than selfishness, politics, or even.... RELIGION!
