I read somewhere that they used a digital help (close to auto-tune but it was something else) for hitting that one strong cream he held out. Other than that one part, he did it live. That's what one article said anyway.

I didn't mind it. I thought they did a good job making them a medley, but I understand what you are saying. But they only get a limited time for the Half Time show. I think it was better to do it that way, then only have a couple songs that they could play all the way through.
One spuer cool thing about games like "Guitar Hero" and the others, is that my kids actually knew alot of the hooks and were singing them and just as enthralled as I was, even though they were watching 60 year olds rock the stage!

That's pretty cool!
It's also humbling of Ringo, that though he is also a drummer, he got Keith Moon to tutor his son. Of course, we all know that Ringo is not one of the best drummers in history, by any stretch, but he is a good dad it seems!
Supposedly, John Lennon was once asked about Ringo, compared to their original drummer Pete Best. And Lennon is said to have responded: "Pete Best was a better drummer... but Ringo was a better Beatle!"
I always thought that was a cool response!
