I've been going the past few months to an allergist for the first time in my life. After becoming very ill and going to various doctors, an emergency room, and specialists who couldn't figure me out I tried the allergist. After a number of very complete allergy tests it was found I have a bunch of food allergies as well as some plant allergies. I'm on a new diet, having given up several of my favorite foods and I'm taking a number of vitamin and mineral supplements. What convinced me of the deadly accuracy of the test results was two events recently.
A few weeks ago I bought some grape juice as I'm not allergic to it . I always read ingredients and this brand looked fine. I drank a glass and started sneezing immediately. I thought it was a coincidence. A few hours later I drank another glass and started sneezing immediately. Maybe I missed something so I read the ingredients again. Nothing I'm allergic to there. On the front label it said "artificially sweetened" which I completely missed. I am highly allergic to artificial sweeteners! Then this morning I tried a few Cheezits which I'm not supposed to eat, because I'm allergic to dairy. I started sneezing immediately.
Anyway, I'm into this diet about a month or so. It's very difficult. It takes a lot of discipline. I still feel dizzy, still am not breathing as I should, but I feel I'm making progess. I don't have anywhere near the phlegm I had this Summer, and hopefully after six months on this diet those food allergens I've been consuming my entire life will finally work their way out of my body for good
Anyway, if you feel like crap find out why. Get DATA on your body. It could lead you to feeling better.
