Never could get it to work at work, but it works at home and sounds good John! I remember that tune is in drop D, is that how you're tuned?
Yeah Jimmy Im playing in Drop D Tuning.
We do about 10 songs in Drop D, so ussually live we just drop for a couple at a time, I can do the Drop D at a drop of a hat, so its no big deal, whenever we drop live i just drop the low e and let it ring til we kick into the song.
Drop D is the only alternate tuning I use live. I have been experimenting with some different tunings for some original stuff Ive been messing around with.

Thanks Sean I need some of you shredder licks!
Thats my great room, has a vaulted ceiling and the drums sound huge in there. The videos dont give the vocals justice or the bass, it sounds great standing in there, but the video was little light on vocals and bass. The guitar really came across I guess cause it was pointed right at the camera, which being a guitarist is cool with me! LOLL!
Thanks for your comments

Way to rock the house! I do wish the vocals and bass were a little better represented. I bet that's a L O U D room!
Actually Peg its quite comfortable volume wise. I put two floor monitors one on the drummer and one on the singer, then fly two monitors at head level on my side and the bassist side, and while we are playing I can hear the singer just clear as a bell.
Im way past being the loudest guitar player in the area, in fact many of my old friends are suprized when they sit in on gigs, and comment about my volume. I think Ive learned to get a pretty good tone out of my equipment at a reasonable volume, but thinking about it, we are probably louder than most cover club bands, but its not deafening.
In the past when we have played in there, we set up with the window on the end of the room behind us, and what little video I have of that sounds better, but sat night there was a Supercross Race on TV, me and the drummer both raced dirt bikes thru the years, so we had the tv on so we could watch the races while we were playing.
All the guys love playing in that room, its very comfortable. We hardly ever practice, so most of the time is BSing about stuff thats happened over the years, we also got some fried chicken from a local place and pigged out, just had a great day.

Very nice..
I always love it when the bass shakes the snare so that it rattles and sizzles.
