Not every Texan are racist Jimmy! I like to think of myself as a REALIST! I dislike folks that want to destroy our society, country and my STATE! I prefer to live and let live. Only problem is thats not other folks agenda. They would just as soon Blow you up, cause you bodily harm, reconquer!
I believe a lot of the folks in this country are racist against Texas! I much prefer they tell me to my face they don't like Texans!
Having personally treaded (in Peace) across some middle east trails, (I.e I was in Bahrain, Pakistan etc). I have to say, many people in the villages, towns and cities were not mean, evil people. They were kind, generous, giving folks.
We have to realize that guys over there, who blow up other people are 'criminals', whether they murder for political recognition or whether they do it to out -do Buffalo Bill.
A criminal is a criminal any way you slice him (No pun intended)
The most common mistake that Americans are making about Muslum people , is that they mis-associating Islam religion and its follower directly with acts of criminal behavior.
The middle east secular state of affairs (in some regions) is comparable to our days during the "Wild Wild West". Laws were not entirely up to par with the rampant anti social behaviors of criminals.
When I lived in California, It was a muslum man, who once gave me a job, when nobody else would give me the time of day. He gave me that job, knowing it was a hit on my pride, but explaining his desire to help me. His wife was equally kind, and networked my name to other opportunities. In the end, they gave kindness and consideration, where many of my own 'christian brothers and sisters gave me contempt and ridicule. (The truth be told, my 'christian ' folk simply weren't real christian..they only pretended to be) . The kicker here is that the man was from India, not Iran or Yemen, etc.
This should illustrate that culture may have something to do with sentiments toward other groups of people. Nobody is born with Hatred. Hatred must be 'taught'. Where shall the cycle end?
I do not agree with fundamental Islamic principles...(when I compare them with fundamental Christian Principles ) But I don't wish to kill those whom I disagree with.
Be it Muslums or Christians, I am an equal-opportunity staunch defender against ALL criminals
