I am indeed ungrateful. What have they defended us from? Our soldiers are good men serving a bitterly corrupt set of masters.

We are at war, I'm told. But our borders are wide open. Right wing conservatives are call by DHS 'the greatest threat we face.'

So what are we fighting for? And why should I be grateful? I ask that as a serious question. because it looks to me like the US govt is fighting US!

They say we must fight ''them" over there or the war will come here. I submit that 30,000 drones offered to local police departments means we are already fighting here, and the enemy is any one who values freedom.

I respect the soldiers because I believe (from talking to many) that they went off thinking they were fighting for freedom or to avenge 9/11. But many are waking up. Ron Paul has more support among soldiers than ALL the other candidates put together.

To avert this problem internally, we must teach the next generation of kids to never join an armed service or agency. If that happens, the govt will be in short supply of dispensable units of leverage for its political /global agendas, which will force it to make better decisions for the country. IMHO

Truthfully, I dont condone a collapse of our defense system. My point was to illustrate a threat to America, if the leadership doesn't get its act together. We experienced a taste of the resistance during the Vietnam era.

But I would like to point out a startling set of numbers (ball park)

Vietnam Loss of US troops (fatalities Min @100k)
Iraq/Afghan Loss of US troops (fatalities Min @10k)

the vast difference in numbers tells me that our Govt has made an attempt to reevaluate how it handles and calculates for War-time attrition.

My point being, the evil doers of D.C. are so confident in the US ability, that there is a greater risk they will leverage evil plans, on the assumption that we can kick anybody's ass with minimal consequence...

If so,,, I do not want to live here any more , because that kind of leadership is what will get us all killed.

got to get money out of politics before that will happen .. Dog ... the goverment is owned and control by the big 6 .. and it's both parties that bow down to these guys.
