Well first was from "The Whale Rider", then "Gladiator". That woman is so talented. Haunting voice and one helluvah composing ability.

The object of this forum is for everyone to make a connection with someone of similar interests.Although my interests are not the same as you two,my hat is still off to you both for your connection but I'm interjecting as your topic is about what are we listening to.I'm listening to a hodge-podge mixture of classic rock and top 40 country from a burned cd that my partner gave me to listen to for practicing purposes as we are reorganizing from a pure classic rock band to a classic rock/oldies/top 40 country to see if that will broaden our playing horizon in our local market.

that I chose randomly from the bandmix UK site

in the town of Manchester:

http://bandmix.co.uk/profile10867.html

Notice the influences listed, it's not that they are "the weirdest"

(BTW I can't believe you're 3 years younger than me!)

it's about not rehashing the same boring old sh*t over and over.

It's about living in the present and creating something new.

The U.S. is one backward landlocked hell hole!

You guys are the reason Cobain shot himself in the head!

He played a small part in the underground hardcore scene in the 80's

then the masses got a hold of him, and everything he rebelled against

became co-opted and hijacked by the idiots he loathed. nightmare!
