Yep, one great band.
Only 4 original players left and they have a much more corporate sound now than the bold, edgy, original tracks from their first album. Terry Kath was one of my early guitar influences. Sometimes we still do "I'm A Man" in their honor.

The first two Chicago albums are masterpieces.

One of my favorite songs of all time by Chicago is Make Me Smile. Killer horns and vocals on that track.

Great band and great songs.

Im not into horns, other than being horny all the time, but Ive always loved Chicago, Im not sure what albums Ive listened too, I ussually got the greatest hits albums and still love to listen to them on my boat in the summer time.

One of my elder sisters was a big Chicago fan.
That was my primary exposure to them.
Though their music is way soft to my normal consumption. The blending of sounds is tremendous.

I love most of the tracks off anything up to Chicago VII. The stuff off CTA was great. Edgy, hard hitting, great horn riffs. I loved II as a concept album. VII was probably one of their most experimental. I find it sad that the group is mostly known for the Ceterra-fronted ballads now.

Cetera and Jimmy Trombone were the only
originals in that video, weren't they. That wasn't
Bob Lamm singing or Danny Seraphino on the
drums, and of course Terrys long gone.

They were a great group.
