Greetings from Pleasant View TN! I just signed my band up
for bandmix.com last night...what a great site! I'm looking
forward to connecting w/ some like-minded musicians!

My band Dead Air Radio is looking for a drummer and a
bassist. Our style is Progressive Metal/Rock. So if you're a
fan of Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment, Tool, Yes,
Rush, and early Metallica-
stop by our profile and check us out! We'd love to hear from
you! We've played many shows in the Nashville area, and
as far as I can see we're the ONLY band around here that
does what we do. We just wrapped mixing on our forthcoming
release "Signal to Noise Ratio", and are looking at a late
April-early May release.

Unfortunately we had to part ways with our drummer.
Due to a hand injury, he suffers permanent nerve damage
and can no longer continue on w/ us. We are hoping to
find a replacement ASAP so that we can perform live in
support of the new release.

So- if you've got the chops, and impeccable timing
(being able to play to a click is a MUST), please
stop by and say hello!

Hey guys welcome to Band Mix..... I been here a while... have some music posted here...... just figured I'd let you know..... people on this site are in no hurry to answer anything...

You may be better off doind a search for who/what you are looking for and contacting them directy. If not... you may be waiting awhile !!! LOL.

Good luck. I love progressive rock.. All my music posted here is more on the mellow side.... but the band I'm in is geared alot more towards the style you guys play.

I f I dont hear from ya'll... I wish you the best with your single and hope it goes all the way to the top... make it happen... do it for all of us who are still trying !!!!!

Dude! Thanks so much for the reply! I suppose you are right.
That's too bad. How can anybody want success and not
actively pursue it? You can't be disappointed about
nothin' happening if you don't actively do something about it.
I did a couple searches and found a drummer who seems
like he would be great- sent him a message. *No reply at all...*
Haha, a lil' Genesis for ya there.
I suppose it IS St. Patties day weekend, so everyone's out
partying...except for me! I'm home sick- but practicing!
I'm going to check your music out right now, and once

This is a pretty weird forum, lots of threads get ignored

i see the influence, dead air sounds good, i personally enjoy listening to dream theater, i like that guitar playing, inspires me to keep playing. keep it up and may the good LORD keep rocking with all.

Keep the vocals just as they are.

My only critique is that you can definitely hear the Dream Theater influence. Maybe a little too much. Any of those songs in your profile sound like they belong on either Images And Words, or Awake.

Post up the info on how to get a copy of your release when it is available.

Hey Bob.....

Dream theater is one of those bands I've heard about, but never really listened to. I'm glad you posted because if there are some similarities... I know that I'll like them because I really enjoyed the "dead air radio stuff"
