Just got the new USB 16 bit 44.1khz sampling interfaces and they work great.
Look exactly like the first ones I had but don't have the whining buffer issues. MUCH cleaner gain on these.

Each 1 delivers 2 tracks.
They are switching inputs so if you plug in a mono mic, obviously it's a mono mic input. Plug in a stereo plug, it switches to a stereo line in.
You should know where to get the necessary adapters etc.
If you're handy like myself, you'll just build an input junction box broke into however many channels you incorporate eliminating a mess of wires with a split wire looming.
Anyway it absolutely works and I've suffered no latency.
I have 3, excluded the originals I had from this new rigging, and get 6 assignable channels under my multri track recording programs.
This is it folks, the poormans multitrack PC recording rig!
