I've been playing on stage for over thirty years and still haven't slowed down. We're playing a big show Monday night with a couple of touring OI punk bands who are all in their 20's. And you know what? They love us. Attitude trumps all else.

I prefer to play with older guys. They're cool mofos, and usually drama free and open minded. I would sit down and listen to guys 15-20 years older than me for advice, but I wouldn't take that much in from a young guy coming right out of the box for the first time...and a few years out of high school. I would advise taking in as much information as you could from the guys here.

On a side note: Haley, I was listening to some of your tracks. Awesome stuff. Your guitar playing is killer! Are you influenced by Santana at all? Your solos are sweet!

Well, now I've been inspired to go get my SG and brush up on my leads.

it is extremely difficult to find people to jam with if your from Florida which i am, how many people out there still into rock music?

Thanks Kruliosis. Yes I am heavily influenced by The maestro Santana in fact I am known around the Clear Lake Area as the guy that plays his stuff note for note. I had a badass guitar player tell me It made him nervous to play Santana in front of me because he knows I know that stuff note for note. He did a great Job he played it his own way and it sounded awesome. I don't expect other people to play stuff note for note playing it your own way is fine. I just choose to do it that way sometimes. I do have my own style but as I get older I find it fascinating to pick a song apart and really learn the nuances of the song and learn the different styles. I really need to quit spending so much time doing that and get back to my writeing and recording my songs but for now I just can't stop myself. LMAO! Now I am going to listen to your music. Kruliosis, Listining to your music now! What type of harmonizer are you using in Ditty 1 close to the end? I have a Boss PS5 and I love it. I use it often when the song calls for it. Like the intro in Living On A Prayer (Bon Jovi) and dual leads I also use it for the Birthday Song by the Beatles I drop it down an octave and then I play the higher line and it sounds just like the Beatles. You have got some good tone man! I am gonna turn my 29 year old son onto it man he loves that kind of music. I liked the lick in Garage Track 3 the best. Sounds good bro good luck with your endevors!

Thanks for checking out my stuff bro. Those tracks are actually 5 or 6 years old. I really need to get something better to record with(workin' on it) so I can show my new ideas. The songs I've written now are more structered and a lot less predictible.

On Ditty 1 I'm using this prehistoric DOD FX7 processor that a friend gave me. It's a decent little thing though. The Grunge effect actually has some mean distortion, and the Chorus is killer too. I'm not too found of the Wah effect, in fact, it doesen't really work that well. But who wants to use some autowah effect anyways? I really want to get me a Crybaby or the EVH wah.

I used to have a Vox Wah that was great very retro sounding. it finally petered out and I got the Dunlop Crybaby with a fasil inducter it is great for using during leads exactly the sound I was looking for, but it just doesn't have that retro sound. You can't do cool stuff like Voodoo Child with the Crybaby it just doesn't get that kind of sound.

Can't wait to post recordings and vids of my new band... the one's I have up are songs I've written and recorded waaay back in the early 80's... We have a professional dude coming down to our debut in March to record and video tape our show... pretty expensive, but worth it as what I have up now on my profile don't do me any justice... Wait'll you see the difference as we've been working hard on this show since August..... Damn excited about this one!

Welcome to about 90% of the music scene. I've been trying to find people that want to make industrial inspired music, but all I seem to find are cybergoths that just want to make shitty EBM with Goblin Vox. I've also noticed that most musicians that put out ads listen to shitty music. About 90% of the people that want to make Metal listen to Metallica, Slipknot, and Disturbed.
