Could you post the lyrics?

Couldn't understand them all.

As to the war, there's something that bothers me about alot of the current thought. I think there are very well meaning people on both sides of this issue. I certainly understand the frustration and horror of hearing about the deaths of those in service in Iraq on a daily basis. War is hell. Period. It may be necessary many times, but it is the most base way of having to solve issues. But clearly, at times there is no other way possible. Not every one wants civilized discussions, sometimes neither side of a conflict is willing to compromise. Sad but true.

What I don't get is this....

Let's just say, for the sake of argument that the war in Iraq was ill-conceived and based on false assumptions, faulty intelligence, whatever.

But we DID go in there. We DID uproot a leader, and cause a void that had to be filled by someone.

Yet Hilary Clinton et al, says we should just leave now. "Sorry Iraqis, we made a big mistake, here's your country back. Good luck."

And that's presidential material?

Are you F*%ING kidding me?

If she ever came into my house, brought chaos and destruction throughout, and said "Sorry for the mess, see ya!" there may be any number of ways I would handle it on a personal level, but would I vote for someone like that for president? HELL NO!!!

I don't want a president with little sense of personal or national responsibility.

Bush made a mistake? Fine. But most Americans went along with it at the time. And now that we have caused chaos in Iraq, lulled its people into taking sides, left a vacuum of leadership, we're gonna cut and run and let the chips fall where they may? We're gonna leave tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands to be massacred, only to have to deal with the problem again in the future, when an extremist authority takes power that is even more anti-democracy and anti-freedom, than we face now?

Are you serious?

It wouldn't be Bush creating another Vietnam, but those that would leave thousands upon thousands of Iraqis to face the same massacre leveled upon the Vietnamese who supported us previously. Those are the ones making it another Vietnam.

I like your song.....but criminal act?

The real criminal or rather immoral acts this country has made me ashamed of, is TIME AND TIME AGAIN, promising citizens of the world back-up in their fight for freedom and normalcy, only to leave them in a pool of their own blood as a reward for standing beside our "professed" principles.

That makes me ashamed.

I don't want another Vietnam.

I don't want another Bay of Pigs.

I don't want another Kurdish massacre, as Bush SR, so willingly allowed the first go round, when he promised them air support, just as Kennedy did in Cuba. And they both lied, and have their blood on their hands.

I want a president who keeps his word, who deals honestly and justly with our own people and the world's.

But I won't get that.

By any party.

Because there is NO SUCH ANIMAL.

When it costs upwards of 100 million dollars to become president, morality has already been sold to the highest bidders.

And they WILL collect.

They always do.

Well, you got one. At least until the end of 2008, when that warmongering lying mass murderer leaves his last skidmark as he swirls down the toilet bowl of infamy.

Bush-2 should have NEVER been president.

You would think we would put forth, as the leader of the free world, our best and brightest. Bush is neither. He is president for one reason alone. His family's wealth and political clout. That's it.

This comes from a person who votes Republican on a consistent basis, because I believe in small government and lower taxes, and a strong military. But I am thinking more and more about the Libertarian party, because the stranglehold the religious right has over the Republican party is frightening. Many of the pilgrims came to America EXACTLY because of religious persecution, and the far right religious leaders, if they had their way, would see America become a theocracy. The very thing many of our forebears were fleeing to begin with.

What's that saying? "Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it!"

As to the title of "War Mongering", you phrase that as if it is a new thing. History, even American history, maybe even especially American history is replete with war mongering. It's been a long time since Isolationism ruled the day in this country. And that in itself brings it's own problems, like the fact that there is now an inescapable global economy.

The famous assessment is this....

"All wars are caused by Undefended Wealth"

I forget now, where that originates, but there is alot of truth in it. Generally one power sees a weakness in a country which has accumulated wealth, but appears too week to defend it. Sure, wars are sometimes fought over religious issues, or border disputes, or any number of other reasons, but at the core, that principle generally holds true. Nations wage war for economic reasons more than any other reason. Even the quest for power, ultimately involves the goal of wealth.

I could make my case for for the dismissal of this whole cabinet all day and night! However I shall keep my points sharp and painful to weak sheep minded conservatives that are so blind they can't see the forest from the trees.

Anyone who has the GUTS to go to these links will plainly see our government invented terrorism. Operation Northwoods, The American Scholars Symposium, or youtube anything by Alex Jones.

This war is the greatest act of treason ever committed in the three hundred years of our country! There are only two reasons why any sane person would have voted on this war, one is that they stood to make more money than any other war in history, or we thought they caused US immediate danger, and fixed all the evidence. We know there are at least ten countries that cause more of a threat to us than Saddam did! That is why they leaked a CIA agents identity, so her expert opinion would not be considered. Then they tried to say she really wasn't undercover, I tell you what if Clinton would have done that, he would still be in prison! You right wingers are brainwashed so easily. You wanted to impeach Clinton for a blow job after the bush camp spent a 100 million and a decade trying to dig something up on him! We have bush making his financial records a matter of national security in the first three months of his first term. The funny thing is that he had to cover Clinton's records too, to get to his Daddy's. So they wasted our f**k money and half the FBI's time digging up nothing so they could turn around and pardon him anyway! Basically, anyone who thinks some primitive arabs training in caves, that came to America to learn how to fly jets without learning how to land, and half of them were being watched by the two most advanced intelligence agencies in the history of man, could hijack four American commercial flights on the same day and hit 75% of their targets, well those people are not even worth debating with!
Everyone say's this conspiracy is to big to pull off! So is saying we are a free country, read the patriot and victory Act's little sheep! The are taking away our rights because they learned a lot from Hitler and the envy his control. We are following right in the same footsteps as pre wwI Germany, people are being considered terrorists for possessing pot! The republicans will not build a wall to keep people out. The news media is a total joke, they paint the pictures that the rich pigs in this country think are the prettiest. While the vice president and half the cabinet should be indited for treason, we air missing persons, and Paris Hilton specials. Wake up idiots before we have a draft and the caskets coming back have your children in them! We have known for thirty years that we have enough coal to make three times as much fuel as Suadi Arabia has, We have stopped looking in this country, we have everlasting supply of corn and soybeans, yet we have been paying farmers not to grow for thirty years. What would have happened if farmers would have kept growing and we had a billion ton's of extra corn, if you converted it to fuel that would make farmers the most powerful people in the world. We are being completely f**k with and we need to have a FIVE million man march and shut down DC for a few days a make the world listen. There are dangerous eliments that we have to watch out for I agree, but none of the scare me more that my own Government.

Rock and Roll Republicanism!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! The south will rise again!! Sweet home Alabama!!!

Ha ha. Who's the real sheep? You actually believe the Democratic politicians are sincere and even "good", where as my statement is that ALL politicians are self-serving. YOU are the naive one my friend. And elitist. I am supposed to be unintelligent because I was born in Florida and play Southern Rock music? What an ignorant statement that is. My IQ is 169, that puts me in the top 5% probably the top 1% of the world's population. I'd have to look up the average to be sure.

Grow up dude. EVERYONE in the heights of power ANYWHERE is a self-serving liar. It's part of the job description bro. I don't care if it is the heights of political or religious leadership. It's all the same. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

You think I am ignorant because I don't single out only one party's leadership for disdain? I'm equal opportunity. I can't stand ANY of them. They are ALL out for power, prestige and the next election. They are not truly there for us.

Good luck in believing that ANY one party is good and the other bad. Let me know how that works for you in 5 or 10 years, when you have a little more experience under your belt.

169,

Before I respond... Was the above addressing Dionysus or myself? I see you used my quote but your statement alluded to Dionysus... Just checking!

It was addressing both. Sorry I didn't make that more clear.

btw.... Clinton is from Arkansas. Do you feel the same about him? He has a southern accent. I don't. Although I still say y'all. LOL

Clinton probably has an IQ in the genius range as well.

Is he supposed to be a clueless redneck too?

Just wondering. :-)

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! The south will rise again!! Sweet home Alabama!!![/quote]
I'am from the south...lived there all my life. At age 41 i moved to NY. Clinton country..(So to speak). And just want ALL to know...Because of this administrations polocies...the Congresses policies...BOTH Democratic..AND...Republican...I've lost loved ones. The debate could go on and on...until you get the news, that...WE Regretfully Inform you That your loved one has DIED in service to your country. And it all comes to light. They died doing what they felt...in there hearts...was there calling. To be a Soldier. Some are called for that...others are called for other things in life. If, WE, as muscians, can ultimately stand as one...and...memoriolize....the sacrefice of those...who gave their life for us. Then...by standing united...We will all win. Just my 2 cents. :)

Mmmm....we will win what? Iraq was lost the minute the US decided to bomb Baghdad. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge of the area, the people, and history, knew that.

So I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about "winning".

What WE win ...is self respect...Iraq...and soon to be Iran...is only a war of conveniance...for those out to divide us as a nation. And judging from your somewhat snide comment...they're doing a very good job
