Holy Sh*it man, ide take the cigarette over that any day! The craziest side effects Ive seen from a pill so far is that Mirapex junk! My ex husband must have been eating them like M&M's haha!

They have NO idea what these brain drugs do when they let 'em loose on the public. My dentist wanted me to get on Chantix as soon as it hit the market. She promised me that it would give me erotic dreams.

I've been married for 26 years. What the HELL do I need erotic dreams for? I'd end up emulating Tiger Woods if I got into that sh*t.

A friend has been trying to talk me into taking Chantix, I've been avoiding it. Didn't know what the side effects were, but I do know it's a chemical never intended to be ingested by humans, same as all drugs. (yes I know the nicotine I smoke every day is a drug too...) (and it's killing me)

But I avoid taking drugs if at all possible, I've looked at the side effects lists of the 11-14 prescriptions my father took every day before he finally managed to knock himself off. (long story) Headaches, vomiting, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, heart palpitations, irregular heartbeat, congestion, runny nose, ringing in the ears, leg or muscle cramps, convulsions, dizziness, hallucinations, behavior modifications, mood swings, spasms...can't remember the entire list.

It's scary...and George is right, if people would bother to read that list that now comes with every prescription, they would never take any of that crap.

Many people are taking multiple prescriptions right now, and a large portion of them are taking half of them to counteract side effects from previous drugs. You take a pill for 2 or 3 years, and develop another problem that is most likely a side effect, so the good old pusher - I mean doctor - puts you on another pill to counteract that, a year later you're on still another pill to counteract that one...

It's a vicious cycle. I'm sure many of you know that if you have a party, 3/4 of the people who go to the bathroom will look in your medicine cabinet. It's amazing how many drugs are in most. Yes, I look a lot of the time, because I've been curious for years about the prescription drug addiction of most americans. It's amazing how many people think all those pills actually help them stay healthy...when the reality is they kill more people then the diseases they are tryint to treat do.

I haven't even taken an aspirin in at least 15 years, I take something for pain when I just can't stand it any more, otherwise I never take any pills at all, except for multi vitamins and vitamin C. Chantix? Not a chance.

Oh, and for you guys considring something like Viagra, before you even thik about it, check into Horny Goat Weed (organic) and L Argenine. (not sure about spellilng) but a friend swears L Argenine will make it harder than chinese arithmetic...I don't dare take anything, I have the exact opposite problem... Just don't have anyone to...appreciate it...

Yo, Billy - if you're ever really tired, & need energy & stamina - for ANY activity (esp gigs!) - I whole-heartedly suggest horny goatweed. It's amazing stuff, & as good or better than those 5 hour energy drinks. No crash after, either. Just don't plan on getting to sleep for 6 hours or so. But it's not a jittery feeling at all, more like the energy you had 10-20 years ago. I don't use it often, but when I need it, I use it, & it always helps. Only tried it once for sex in an experiment where my wife fell asleep on me, & I was awake throughout most of the night with a lot of energy...no 4 hour erection, though, thank heavens!

I guess you learn new stuff all the time. Right now my head is spinning, I've been learning new songs like crazy the past couple of months, every time Randy and I get together we put together at least one new one, usually 2 or 3. We alsp played a couple we had never even thought about trying while onstage and pulled them off quite well. Might try the horny goat weed at the next gig, I do a good bit of moving around anyway, last weekend I jammed with our small audience on the dance floor a few times, so maybe it will come in handy for that. I need all the energy I can get onstage...guess I need to do another gig post but have been holding off until someone is there who can get us a few pics to post too.
