Hey all, just popping in to say a quick hello before my last final exam. I just put up a new recording from my solo project An Echo Revealed Our Scheme, and I thought you'd like to have a listen. If you would, just click on the link below and have a listen to "What I Want." I apologize for the mix as well. There are some things I would have loved to do differently, but I didn't do the mixing haha

Nice vocal range, Rep. This is pretty good. Well produced. Kinda a B side sorta thing, though, prolly due to the melody. Well played & sung.

I think you carry your voice very well indeed. Your sound on this track was a little late 80's and I like it for that too. Good mix. What are you using please?

I was actually helping a friend by recording this. He needed a song for his recording project, so I got the privelege of recording this in my school's recording studio. In other words, I got to record with equipment I could never ever afford:

Everything went through our Solid State Logic Duality console. Guitars were all recorded with the Neumann 147 (The one with the tube-preamp). Bass was through active DI and a Manley preamp (not sure of the model). I can't remember the exact drum setup. The only mics I remember were the AKG D112 on kick and two AKG 414Bs on overheads. Vocals were with a Neumann TLM 103. And I imagine the 80s-esque sound comes from the fact that the entire project was recorded to 24-track tape.

As always, thanks for the feedback, guys!
