You know more about guitars n stuff than I ever will. If you say you got a deal on a great axe, I got no doubts my man.

Cab?
Yes, Ive taken to facing my amp towards me from stage front a la monitor style to minimise feed back from the vocal mics and I dont run much of my guitar through the other monitors because I tend to drown out the vox. Tonys pretty picky about hearing himself so he can harmonise with Ray. He stands in front and slightly stage left of me. Especially on a tight stage. It would put him right in front of my amp in the old arrangement. Not a good place to stand if you want to hear anything LOL
The second cab would go opposite stage side of me where Eric is.
It would allow Eric to hear me better and when I wander over there to jam with him face to face it would serve as my stage left monitor as well as balancing the sound for Steve on the drums.
We run the overall mix through the mains so my amp does not need to face the audence.
Besides, I have a severe G.A.S. infection I caught hanging out with you guys.

Damn! SHred thanks for the info on those classic vibe models- I've been needing a Tele for a while now (do they have a vibe tele or is it just strat?), just FINALLY dialed in a tele-like sound with my kramer after months of tooling around between headphones amps and gigs lol.

Not that I have $270, but I do have some gear on CL for sale that might get me there faster :)

Stock, it's the best sounding one of the bunch. They have some great singing highs, and the notes don't smear together at all. Every note comes through individually when chording. It's quite amazing to compare one to a real Fender Tele. I would definitely keep one of these in mind. Go test drive one, I'm positive you'll be impressed.

Here's a nice little youtube demo:

hmmmmmmm, yeah you could be right. I mean ive been in way better stores for music. In fact i purchase most of my guitar stuff at apple music, a local buisness down the street from me. But all their bf deals suck so i go to guitar center instead.

Definitely cool, if I can sell my amp by then I will be sure to pick one up. Doubtful though... someone just listed a very similar amp for half of what I'm asking grrrrr. EVERY time I list my amp or my ovation for what I would consider 'fair market value' someone ALWAYS pops right up to undersell me, at insanely low prices.

I love the Squire % string bass I bought about 6 months ago. Made in Indonesia though. It plays better than a lot of guitars priced 10 times more than this one. Glad I dropped 299 on it.

To another day in Paradise !!!!

Nothing wrong with Indonesian made Squiers at all. In fact none of them are made in the U.S.. Only a certain amount of Fenders are.

The CV models are Made in China if I remember correctly. My personal favorites are Korean made Stagemaster neck-through models.

In my opinion Squier did everyone a great service by offering a good quality low cost guitar during an economic down-turn. I'll most likely be picking up a CV Tele sometime next year.

We played with these guys earlier this year. The singer is playing a CV Tele stock through my Fender 85. For those who might remember, this is the one where the guy maxed my amp and almost blew my speaker.
