Sounds like a plan, Chippy! Let's do it in the Potomac!

Chippy, be ready to flee the area.

The wave is supposed to cover all the way to the steppes of Ohio and if you don't get out of the way, you're going under.

Gives credence to the concept of keeping my motorcycle running and picking up the ultralight aircraft I always wanted.

I had a dream that I was back in high school, & was preparing to go out on a date with a really hot girl I used to know.

I was gonna take her out to dinner, & didn't wanna look like a pig, so I stopped off to get one of those gut-buster burritos at 7-11. After I wolfed it down, I went to her house.

Her father greeted me at the door, & told me she was still getting ready, & to have a seat. I sat down on the couch, & their dog came over & sat on my foot, as her father sat in his easy chair & watched some stupid sit-com.

Then, that burrito started to rumble around in my gut, & I felt flatulous pressures rise up within me.

I managed to let off a little pressure, & shortly after that, her father yelled "FIDO!"

"Whew!" I thought. "Good thing that dog is here!"

Then another roaring rumble nearly doubled me over, & I let out a bit more gas.

"FIDO!"

Another bullet was successfully dodged, & I figured it would be best to just let it all out. The couch was soft enough to muffle the vibrations, but the smell was really horrible as I let 'er rip.

It was then that her father hollared, "FIDO! Get the hell away from him before he shits on ya!"

Then I woke up...

I have written some in the dream time, but not in deep REM.
When I was studying Gung Fu, my Sifu whom was teaching me to meditate to clear my mind and turn off the internal dialogue.
Part of the study was to learn Dream Direction. To conciousy realise your dreaming, without waking up, and be able to steer the dream.
After about a year of practice I was able to realise when I was in the Dream State, but not exert any control.
One day while working in the gang, I sleptin the back seat of the gang truck at lunch while the pusher napped up front. I awoke first, got out and walked over behind the pumping unit we had been servicing to take a leak. When I finished up I streached for a few moments then walked back to the truck. As I passed the truck I looked into the back seat to see myself still laying there asleep!!
I awoke again, still in the back of the truck in a cold sweat, scared shytless.
I have not attempted Dream Direction since that date.

I don't know what they are but I do know that they affect me sometimes. I have vivid touchy dreams, always in bright colour. Flying is the best part, trains often feature along with water. Seems though that when those elements come together its of a large magnitude which I rarely ever forget.

Clearing the mind is my best bet on these but there are the odd 'other times'.

You should try some Dream Direction Chippy. The first step is to say to yourself in the dream, hey I am dreaming. Without breaking the dream cycle.

No idea what it is but I'll tell you when I'm allowed to have my ball back!

Really, sans? The 1st step in that African tribe what believes that dreams are real, & that you can control them, is to look at your hands. I've tried it, & done it, but not much more.

That reminds me of a dream..

Kind of weird, but i'll spill it.

I was standing in a field, near a wooden fire tower.

I was deeply depressed and I climbed the tower steps.

I climbed level by level, step by step until I reached the top which was enclosed with a little roof on it.

I felt despondent and climbed up out onto the roof section.

The wind blew a little and I shivered.

I stood very next to the edge and closed my eyes.

I stood very still and stretched my arms out as if to take off.

I remember holding on to my standing position for what seemed to be hours before I finally fell off the roof of the tower.

I fell and watched the ground rise up at me, feeling a sense of tranquility as I seemed to slice through the air like a feathered being.

At the moment before I was to hit the ground, I swerved and flew into the sky, circling the town near the tower.

I flew higher, staring at the sun. I changed course for the city and flew in between the buildings. I flew for so long I lost track of time.

I noticed the Tapan-Zee bridge and started to fly for home.

I realized that now I had no home and was free to fly where ever the winds would take me.
I felt loss and pangs of guilt at the prospect of never returning to whence I had come.

I kept trying to fly home and couldn't find the way.

It got darker and darker. I finally set down near a large highway, about 30 minutes from home. I examined my white wings with curiosity, as a spotlight or headlights blinded me...

And the dream popped.

Told you it was weird.. lol
