GLENJ wrote: Prevost there goes another canadian bashing AMERICANS .
I don’t see anywhere in my statement where I was bashing any AMERICANS. Get a grip Glen
you guys dont have a clue and beleive it or not you only survive , because of the greatness of all these corporations that suddenly have become the bashing de jour..
What … you’re sheep … can’t question corporations motives or SEE the propaganda that they put out there. I have to agree with Phil, that corporation are too big and have too much power. These no way a corporation should have the same right as a citizen … they have too much money to influence the outcome of any debate.
As far as me “only surviving” well I seem to be doing pretty good, I plan to semi-retire in the next couple years, everything is paid for … I don’t know … How’s your survival working for you.
Wait till you need a brain transplant, and that’s coming soon, and you find its not covered.
Oh … I’m really worried about that one … like that’s going to happen anytime soon.
Bad companies like bad people dont last long. And yes why would we bail them out , to make the politician de jour look good.
Unlike bad ppl … bad companies can go on & on …. The banks have been bailed-out 3 time in my lifetime. The HC industry is putting profits before life. The pharm industry want everyone on med’s … even kids are getting put on powerful psychotic drugs at the age of 3 and are vegetables by their teens … this has been going on for decades …
Prevost stay up in canada, You dont have a clue what it is like to be American all you have is the clue to sit and be jealous like terrorists that flew 2 jets into our sacred country. Your talk is the very begining of that sort of craziness.
Well I have a lot of American friends … but you’re right, I don’t know what it’s like to be an American. Having said that the reverse is true for you, you are clueless about Canadians, their HC system and our economy … so let’s keep the rhetoric down and stick to what you know and the facts.
As far as jealousy goes … NOT. You live in a great country but it’s being brought to it’s knees by greed by the rich and the middle class is paying the burden. When I see all the people of your great nation struggling as hard as they do to make ends meet … and corporation are making record profits and paying little to no tax … in my PEA brain (small as it maybe in comparison to yours) … it looks like there’s something wrong with this equation. Oh … FYI the majority of jobs are created and held by small businesses not large corporations … and they are struggling too. But what the hell .. lets give those big corporations an other tax break … let them spend more money to influence our live for the worst.
Someone once said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.
NO,,,,, I'm not crazy, unless some liberal just got another law passed making it against the law to protest or protect you home birth country.
Did I insult you,,, Not half as bad as you did me with your pompous attitude.
Pompous attitude ... look who's talking
THIS IS AMERICA , when Phil or Sans or any of these other AMERICANS speak I do weigh their comments heavily.I just dont need some one from botswannaville telling me what to do,and I dont even want to hear the term politically correct.
Well first off this was posted in the General Posting section on this forum and you are entitled to your opinion and I’m entitled to mine. I would suggest that you travel the world a bit, Glen and maybe your views (more realist) and opinions would improve. Your narrow mindedness is part of the problem not the solution to the problems facing the US in the future.
OH ,CAREFUL , Prevost, Canada DOESNT MIND YOU OLDER GUYS TAKING A SUDDEN DIRT NAP.
Well … that quite a statement. It just goes to show how little factual knowledge you have and how badly you have been influence by corporate propaganda.
You know nothing about our HC system so why pretend that you do?
I know hundreds of Canadians (maybe thousands, over my life) an not one has ever gone to the US for HC … not one. Why … hell we couldn’t afford it.
Your above statement is too funny … Canadian is rated number 6 life expectance .. the US … wait for it …. is number 50 … so tell me again who’s country “DOESNT MIND YOU OLDER GUYS TAKING A SUDDEN DIRT NAP” oh and you can use google to find these stats.
Both my parent died in the last 2 yrs at the age of 92. Our family (2 sisters and myself) could believe the level of great care that they received in their old age.
My mom had Alzheimer’s for the last 10 yrs, Macular Degeneration (15yrs) and Osteoporosis (15yrs) .. in other words she was a mess. She also had 2 hip replacements, she was one the operating table within hrs of breaking her hip.
My dad was in good health until the end, and died within 1 month of his organs shutting down, he ended his life in the same care facility as my mom was in.
A good friend of mine has had 3 heart attacks in the last 4 yrs (this is the first August he’s got though without one) and was on the operating table within hours.
Another good friend was having problems that look like a heart symptom, shortness of breath, dizziness etc. I took them a week to figure out what is was … it was a growth on her Pituitary gland, 3 weeks later she was under the knife and all is well.
How much did this cost all these ppl. … not one dime. In the US my friend with the heart condition would be dead or broke or both.
