Hay Crip,

Great pics!

Looks like your bass player finally realized that he has one to many strings on his bass, and is tryin' to rip one off!
Looking forward to the "live footage".
I spent most of my Halloween nite hanging sheetrock while listening to "Little Steven's Underground Garage" on the boom box. Then I came back to the old house and poped a Guiness and watched a scarry movie.

Good to hear that some of us are still out giggin. :)

Crip the vid is fun to watch. Your leads are always freaking screaming!!

I had to laugh at the end where the singer accidentally hits the girl in the face. Hahaha. Looks like he was even oblivious to it. I could see you laughing at it too man.

Crip, you were tearing that axe up brother!

Liked the filter used on the video too. Cool effect!

When you relocate to Jacksonville....

Oh Craig, I only wish I could get off this stinkin' island... sure we get gigs and stuff but the club owners are a buncha pricks and they're still paying you by the amount of people coming in.... that's why we narrowed our shows down so we don't get old hat and people stop coming.... We always make a big deal whenever we have a gig and hype the sh¡t out of it so we can fill the house and get decent $$$!

I know brother. It's hard friggin' work, and you have to self-promote the hell out of yourselves, until you get to another level. I did that sh*t for 2 years, 8 hours a day, and had built my band up to where we were starting to get gigs as high as $1500 to $2500 bucks. And that's when one dumbass decided they should all share copyrights to the songs I WROTE!!! Those mutherf*ckers wouldn't even come over an extra day a week or every other week, to write songs WITH ME when I would occassionally ask them to do that, but once we were about to put out an album... BOOM... suddenly they think they should own the songs I had to write ALONE, even the ones I had written 13 years before I met them.

We were really close.

A big label had even come to one of our shows to check us out.

JACKSONVILLE MUSICIANS!!!!

ARE YOU LISTENING????

JOIN ME... LET'S GO ALL THE WAY THIS TIME!!!!!! :-D

I have songs that kick the ass of many of the songs I have already put out there. I write better than I breathe!

Who wants to change the world, or at least make alot of money, while I change it! LOL ;-)

We had a great show Friday. A band called Chernobyl Babies followed us, then Choking Susan who were awesome. The last band was a husband and wife duo from Australia called Untidy Execution. They sounded like a cross between White Stripes and The Clash. All of the other bands donated the proceeds to them since they are just living off from what they make as they travel around the states.

Last night we went to see Know Lyfe (www.myspace.com/knowlyfe) who were intense. Bloodlined Calligraphy (http://www.myspace.com/bloodlinedcalligraphy) followed them, also great. They have a female vocalist who can keep up with any male metal singer. Crazy night.

Finally, Crip, some good vid. Y'all rock, and you are def a good shredder. I like your sound. Good show ole-man. I gave that clip 5 stars on utube.

I played with John Lee Sanders on Hell-o-ween ... monster band with some of the top sideman in this area. We play to a packed house and had a blast.

John has played & recorded with many big names in the industry, Tower of Power, Huey L and the News, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Crystal Gale, The Meters . to name a few. He was MD & sideman for Long John Baldry from 1986 to 2004. Check him out, he writes some great music.

John Lee on Piano, Sax & Guitar / Tony Robertson on guitar / Michael Fic on bass / Scott Grant on Drums / Ron Walker on Hammond.

The drummer came as the swine flu ... :D

John Lee with his Mardi Gras crown on, playing some New Orleans deep fried funk ... always the entertainer

Tony Robertson in drag ...

Me and my better half ... ready to mak'in it greasy

I had 6 hrs to get 30 original songs down .. and a lot of JLS music is 2 chords to the measure and 4 chord turn-arounds in a measure with 2 to 4 measures on the T-around ... love the challenge :D

This weekend I'm playing with the Sleddogs ...

Hey Phil ... I guess I do .. it's as much as who I know as what I can do. I have a good work ethic and additude and I'm a fast study ... and know how to play in a band (add to the sound not take anything away).

This next 2 months are busy for me ..

This weekend I play with the Sleddogs supporting their new CD release .. they've had a few videos on MTV

The end of Nov I'm play with Alfie Zappacosta .. he's had many #1 hits in the past.

Dec 1 to 16, I'm on tour with Mystic Bowie from Jammica (reggie artist) supporting his new CD release. Mystic has also fronted with the Tom Tom Club (old Talking Heads)

Dec 10 will be a crazy night ... I'm playing a gig with John Lee Sanders, Mystic Bowie, Tammy Weymouth and Stu Emslie and Keith Emerson (ELP) 4 one hr sets with 4 different bands ... I think that one will make my head hurt.

Jan ... I will be playing with 8 time Juno winner Rita Chiarelli

Holy shittonnastick, Batman!

You're playing KEYBOARDS with Keith Emerson? Man, that blows my frikken MIND!

I have a Tom-Tom Club CD around here, somewhere. They were fun, but much better with David Byrne, imho.

I've heard some Mystic Bowie at a friend's house. They're pretty good, too, if you like the genre.
