That's the main advantage of moving to bass from guitar, imho. You bring certain knowledge with you to expand your play, but it also can tend to make one overplay...I've been accused of that a lot over the years, LOL
sans, you should learn some of this, man. It'll help in your writing a lot.

Alan, what happened to that tune you stuck up there?
I liked it. It may "taste like Elvis", but some Elvis is tasty.
I play "Jailhouse Rock" just about every encore I get to play, which ain't much but it's occasional. I just do it HARDER.
I need a tee-shirt that says "Acid Rock guys play it harder and faster".
lol

. . . how do you mean . . . ?
.
Which song? Looks like right now, my posted songs are:
- Molasses Blues,
- Half-Jazzed Blues
- Jaunty Boy
- Out Here
- Frolicking Fingers
.
I change them every so often - I recently took down 'Spring Song,' 'The 4th Emotion,' 'Bum-bum Padum.'
.
Also previous posted here: 'Bradley Boogy,' Blue Rabbit Jazz,' 'A New Take,' 'Picnic.' 'Caribbean Blue . . .' others . . .
I thought you had a direct link to Molasses Blues, didn't you?
Pretty decent..
I must be losing it. There's always tomorrow, but...
"Tomorrow Never Knows" lol
