jimmydanger wrote:Nice Paul! I'm a foodie my self, I just made my patented Key Lime Cheese Pie last night and ate half of it. It has half of the cholesterol as regular key lime pie. Here's the recipe:

1/2 cup fresh squeezed Key lime juice
1/2 a package (4 oz) of cream cheese
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks

Beat the egg yolks and cream cheese until smooth; add the milk and combine. Add the juice and beat for two minutes. Pour batter into a graham cracker crust and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Cool for an hour and serve with freshly whipped cream and raspberrries. Yum!

ooooooooh thank you Jimmy!!!!! I WILL be trying that. I am a fiend for key lime too.

My pleasure. I also make a mean Lemon Almond Pound Cake.

My daughter is starting a new website/blog chronicling everything she eats for a year. She lives in the middle east and eats at five star restaurants regularly. Last time she was her she showed me pictures of the food she had eaten recently, looked a lot like your pics. For my birthday she took me to a restaurant called Saltwater at the Detroit MGM Grand casino. I had the lobster pot pie; it came in a pot with a crust baked over it. The waiter then reassembled the lobster on my plate at tableside. It was unbelievable.

For the next ten days starting tonight you can get a five star dinner at any one of Detroit's top gourmet restaurants for $27! Check this out: http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/20925655/detail.html

Im addicted to the food channel on TV . I love to eat about anything and considered edible. I dont know anything about the blood type diet their talking about, but I've got a classic cast iron stomach. I have to watch my blood sugars religously and try to leave the junk alone. But one thing for sure Those pics made me real hungry. Whats for lunch?

Another day in Paradise !!!

If it wasn't so expensive I'd eat it every day too. $65 - $90 for 2 of us is too much to eat it more than once every week or 2.

Good that you know what you like, Paul, but I wouldn't have eaten at least half that stuff and I'm a big damn boy!

philbymon wrote:I've looked into that blood type diet, too, bob. I dunno if it's bunk or not, but it is suspicious when it says to me that brocolli is good for me, but cauliflower is bad...I'm sorry, but that makes zero sense to me.

I, too. am type O.

The theory makes perfect sense, but the application is a bit fuzzy to me.
I can't explain how it works. I questioned some of the avoid foods, but after being on the diet for over a year I started trying some avoid foods to see what would happen. It was a mistake. All I know is that it works for me.

Lamb Curry thing?
Looks a little red to me and you have two types of rice. I think one is a wild rice? Perhaps with some ERBS :D

Seems there is a very good cook in the house Paul. My mouth also was watering.

The Indian lamb dish was kshmiri. The only thing made at home was the caramel apples and the bacon and eggs. My wife is however a killer cook!! I have a few dishes I make well. I make breakfast foods, and salmon, and burgers on the grill. My wife is adventurous and creative. She rarely makes anything the same way twice. She scores about 95% of the time. When it's not great it's still good. :D
