I do wish you luck, and you seem to have the most massive following here, I'm just not in those ranks sorry 'n' all that, there is enough shouting in the world.

I will not interject on your conversations again seeing that you apparently have an answer for everything.

I bow to your most gracious wisdom in all things.

Yours.

What I meant by that is if you don't like a certain genre, don't insult the artist...Just move on. You don't see me commenting on amateur rap videos saying "OMG RAP SUCKS STOP DOING IT THERES ENOUGH RAPPERS IN THIS WORLD"...I let them do what they like. It's not up to me or you how far they will get to go with their music career.

Ryan if anything I have said to you offended you I am completely sorry.
I just don't get grunge metal at all, in fact I prefer rap though most of it I just hear a few bars and switch off. There are occasions however when one hits me, so too with grunge. Grunge is tech/timing brilliant however.

I cannot stop anyone doing anything, I don't have that power, (sadly). There are a great many things I would change today.

I was commenting on the music style alone and the fact that I found it amusing that someone should have to read lyrics that no one can understand when they are sung. That's about it ~ nothing personal in that at all.

Listen you are the hype at the moment. You don't know me and I don't know you. There could be someone watching right now that would employ you and indeed you are looking to secure a job with some really good cool lukes. Power to you!

From what I've seen of you since you came back you have not interacted with other people and their new stuff very much. That would be a good thing to see since you will then be in my shoes.

In short I just commented. Good luck again.
Cheers.
Chippy.

My question may make me look stupid, but I must know - on those high screeching vox - are they electronically altered? They sound like they're speeded up. Are the low ones?

Hope I haven't offended. Just wanna know.

None of my vocals are altered in any way. After recording, I just add some reverb/delay, then level out the volume so the whole vocal track is the same volume, then mix with the song.

I'm not Kanye West...I don't need computers to make my voice sound good XD

Well, that's very impressive, for sure, Ryan!!!!

Nice bit o' phrasing, too, with the harmony screams. I thought you were using a vocal synth they were so close.

You have excellent timing.

Here's a clip of Girl Scout Hand Grenade at Dirt Fest 2006. I'm the one with the black t-shirt and sunglasses. My son is also in several shots. Tanya rules! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slpg1e0JrLM

Ryan,

Although you arent in one of my favorite genres of music, you have come a long ways musically since you came on this site. You have advanced a long ways and thats what matters.

Good Luck in all your musical endeavers.

Thanks for sharing and dont worry about the naysayers, stick to your guns and be the best that you can be.

Seeing that I am not privy to prior music by Ryan (Please forgive this Ryan). Not talking over you.

I just don't know? All I know is that someone came back and most here were excited. I'd love to meet up with all of you folks and I'm totally sure that may change my opinions but to be honest it shouldn't.

I'm a very good cook but some ingredients I change regularly because I don't like them. It doesn't mean I don't like the dish it just means I don't like that ingredient.
