Hey Billy
Crazy schedule these days.
I am always (except this morning) up by 0500 or so. (worked till 0200)
Work this week 0600 - 1600 Sunday, Monday unless cancled by hospital.
Tuesday off band rehearsal 1800-2130
Grand Jury Wednesday to find out my schedule for "service to the county"
Work 06 - 16 Fri - Sat - Sun - Mon (unless cancled)
Once again depending on Grand Jury schedule.
Balancing September with the hospital and Grand Jury is gonna suck!
Official unofficial transport for;
The Freshman Football Team and High school orchestra (my son George)
8th Grade Tennis team and Middle school Band (my son Bryn)
But call any time, if I am working or cant get signal due to travel leave me a message and I will get back to ya.
Been working as a PRN RN so I can be more available to my sons in these important years of their lives, and so I am available for the band.
But I tell ya true, some days I'd trade all this "fun" for a full time job with a regular schedule that I dont have to have a calender and a clock to keep track of ( the full time income would help too ).

well thanks philbymon, Kramerguy, mistermikev, Black57, Chippy, fisherman bob! It sure is rewarding to be respected by your peers.

OK if somebody handed me a contract and said assemble your band from 5 bandmix members. I'd hit up....

1. JimmyDanger on guitar - dude is fierce, raw, real, and understands music both on an emotional level (the only way I understand it) AND from a technical level. His chops are so refined. And if you can get a better tone than JD then... eh, just give up you can't. PLUS he appreciates so many genres as I do and that is a huge deal to me. - Listen to "nothing but wrong" in his profile to catch his song writing, rhythm and lead tone and skills.

2. Shredd6 on guitar and vox. This guy has a lot of cred in my book. His song "burn" is flawless. Shows great edgy emotional skills in song writing, playing and singing. Great vocal range. He too appreciates a wide variety of styles and is quickly adaptive to new styles.

3. Kramer guy on bass. Yep I said bass. I know that's a shocker. It's NOT a cut to his guitar work. Actually switching instruments is a big part of my favorite bands I've been in. So Jimmy Danger and Kramer Guy could switch up bass and guitar in this all star bandmix super group. Reason I pick Kramer Guy for bass? Go to his profile and listen to Strange surf. Most guitarists on bass sound like just that. Kramer sounds like a bass player and a really good one at that.

4. Howlin J on keys and vox. He's got it. "nuff said. And we WILL play "come on to me" in this group.

5. The Kidd on drums and vox. Solid and experienced. His song "home on the road" Is a great sample. I don't see it on his profile now.

Hey that's an all star line up with plenty of room for 4 part harmonies.

I followed the format chippy!

I've wondered too, called Kidd a while back and got no answer.

George...You didn't say anything about today, so I guess your phone will be ringing before long...Can't tell what time your post really was, yesterday at 3PM or so it said it was sometime around 1AM...anyway it's right on top of noon, I'll try when I go out for a smoke in a bit. With my luck you'll be just dozed off for a nap...

Edit - Soon as I posted I checked, it says I posted at 4:47PM, it's really 11:57AM....go figure...

I do appreciate the prop's that I got on this thread but I can't go there either.

I will tell that Paul is my favorite performer @ BM but that's as far as I go.
There are far too many quality artist's and performer's here to pick just five, and I don't want to slight anyone here!

We love ya, Ryan, & even if we don't totally understand your genre, no one can say you don't do it extremely well. You got the chops. You have our respect. You've earned it.
