GREAT performance as always. We tried that tune a few months ago. My entire band didn't do it as well as you. Now that pisses me off!

I looked this one up cuz I love David Lindley so much, & remember thinking it was so cool back the 1st time I heard it.

Yeah, yours was better! These days it sounds to me like George Thorougood might as well have done it, & I'm no fan of GT.

I wonder how many times this song has been recorded. Prolly more times than Mercs have been sold...LOL

Thanks Philby! I hadn't heard his. I've heard the original, Steve Miller's, Meatloaf's, And Alan Jackson's so far. It's a standard for sure. I get a big crowd response on it every time from young and old.

wow paul, you have a great voice, and a great sense of rythm.
not that crazy about the drums - that kit sounds horrible... needs a tuning maybe? very impressive tho.

on a lighter note... i was just thinking you should have done that set dressed like ming the merciless... in fact I might photoshop your avatar just for kicks (hehe).

My buddy just asked me who "Nean" (pause) Der-Paul" is..lol

"Is he German"? "He sounds good"..

I replied, "why sure.. he IS good".

He goes, "I think I saw him when we were in Bern, (Germany), right?" .... LOL

Love the way you labled the work sequence.

As some of the younger cats may say.

That was sick Paul. :D

It's kinda funny. I wondered what was with the whole sock foot thing.
I was sharing some of your vids with a friend and band mate the other day. He said, " look, that dude is fading the volume with his toe, man that pisses me off, he has more talent in his freakin toe than our whole band! "

LOL
